This video deserves nothing but a thumbs’up
One of the best videos i saw on youtube .
The simplicity is beautiful.

@@dsbigboss6212 it is not an invasion, it is just that berbers welcomed arabs because they liked islam.
First time I went to Morocco I was moved to tears by the generosity and hospitality. Alhamdolillah I’ve accepted Islam and I‘ve been married to my husband who has Berber origins.☺️

I'm Moroccan and I can assure you that if you ever so much as mention food to any Moroccan they will invite you over to eat and they will insist. Beautiful video.
LOL Awesome! The people of Morocco seem so much nicer than other North African countries, is this true? EVERYONE was so amazingly nice and sweet in this video, I wish I could have visited Morocco instead of even BOTH of the countries I did visit!!!! LOL :)
I'm going to Morocco now.
@@SoapinTrucker you didn't ask me, but I'm Moroccan as well. But this kind of hospitality is found almost everywhere in North Africa and Middle East. It's a big part of our culture and religion. Feeding others is considered a good deed.
If you ever plan to go to Morocco, believe me, it won't be hard to go by without getting invited by someone. You are also welcome at my place if you go. :)
Food. 😆
@@Red-Ahmed Great information, thank you warmly my friend! :)

I always admired Gordon's respect for other countries cultures, it's a quality that many people don't have.
Are you FUCKING joking me @GordenRamsay call himself one of the best chef in the world and before going to Morocco u didn't taste camel. Are u joking me!!!!Such a shame!
yeah he’s much better than Jamie in that aspect. Jamie always comes across as somewhat arrogant whenever he’s in another country.
Morocco is my favorite North African country for sure, the ppl are so friendly. The culture and the food is amazing and so unique. I would definitely recommend anyone to visit

Fatima she’s so cute bless her
I love this show, I appreciate not seeing Gordon yell at people and be the sweet and humble guy he really is.
the reason is the enviroment, toxic or healthy.
citys are sick enviroments.
Right
Why should he yell at people in their own country ? if he does they'll generously beat the hell out his ass 😂😂
He’s actually a very decent kind guy. The shows are scripted for viewing purposes hence the drama. I love Gordon, we share the same birthday except the year lol! I’d kill for Tania now yum. Miss my country and sad I left
Little Fatima is the highlight of this whole trip, I tell you ❤

Mr Gordon it is wonderful to have you here in my beloved country, I hope you've had a great time.
One thing that would like to mention is that you keep repeating the same mistake when it comes to the history of this land, the Ottomans have never set a foot in Morocco.. and as a matter of fact the Moroccan identity that you've seen and experienced was established centuries before even the Ottomans existed in Anatolia (today's turkey).
I hope you visit us again.. there is a lot more to the Moroccan cuisine than what you've tasted in Fas :))
EXACTLY !!
I believe he means the Ottoman influence in Morocco which was in fact an influence that was felt in every North African and middle eastern country. This is because the Ottoman Empire was the leading khilapha in the Muslim world at its peak. From spices to instruments and offcourse the hamam (which in fact came from the ottomans)
@@billydanger2312 no i assure you there is no influence of the ottomans in morroco.
The spice morroco used centuries before ottomans because we had already a trade with China and India(read the history of morroco) and the hammams they where not ottomans but greek and later used by the romans centuries before the ottomans!!
@@billydanger2312 Morocco was controlling the Iberian peninsula for ove 800 years, very little influence from the Ottomans, Public baths (or hammams )were introduced to morocco by the Romans, some 2000 years ago. Long before any interaction with the Ottomans. Also the Ottomans never added Morocco to their dominion unlike other countries in the region.
@@billydanger2312 ancient carthaginian ruines in tunisia of kerkouane prooved that hammam was always there even before the romans and ottomans ,part of morocco was carthaginian so it is no surprise

Incredible video! As a Moroccan, I highly respect Gordon's appreciation of our culture given he is an international eminent chef. The people featured in this episode couldn't have represented our culture and customs any better, Moroccans are kind, hospitable and immensely generous from the North of the nation to its South, and these are qualities which are engraved into our identity as Moroccans!
I love this vlog, Moroccan culture and hospitality are good. and Gordon respect there culture and foods
The Almohad dynasty, a Berber empire, made hammams popular throughout the country in the 12th century. Gordon is with the berbers, yet he can't help insulting them by claiming their traditions are Turkish and that the Ottomans brought it their in the 12th century. The Ottomans' lackluster attempt to make Morocco a vassal state ultimately failed when Murad III invaded in the 16th century and the Turkish army was paid in gold to leave. The so-calked vassal period lasted only 2 years between 1576 and 1578. Hammams were already there, Gordon!
“These buggers took me to a male camel to ‘milk’..”🤣
The first time I see him not complaining Morocco done good
Out of all your TV shows to do with cooking this one is by far the best Gordon , please may it continue .

The people are the same and the borders are only made recently.
@@ssailiQ totally agree, I see no difference between Morocco and Algeria on all levels, the good people are the same, and the garbage people are the same, too bad for us only garbage people run our countries, we're like Kurds divided into 4 countries, we are divided into 7 countries and it's sad enough but some garbage people wants to make it even worse pushing everyone to hate each other to preserve their borders and seats.

Morrocan ans Algérien cultur are not the same
Tunisian berber here and I can assure you that our cultures are different with few similarities in language and traditions but overall each berber in each country or group has their unique heritage
@Sun Lolita @@berg9946 Yes, but there are more similarities between the different Berber tribes than differences. Also, all Berber dialects are very familiar, whether it's Shleu7 or Rif or Kabyle, etc, as soon as the words are written down or translated you'll notice immediately that the words are the same except that they're just pronounced a bit differently. Of course, you'll find some uniqueness here and there, but overall they have the same basis and the cultures just contain varieties of the same things.
Morocco was always a cross-over for diverse cultures …and that what exactly make it unique
Isn't that the case for all countries? That's how cultures and ethnicities are made.
