Improve the driving comfort of your 2018-2020 JL Wrangler by installing a RedRock 4x4 Dead Pedal Assembly. This Dead Pedal will give JL owners a comfortable place to rest their left foot while driving. A RedRock 4x4 Dead Pedal Assembly is ideal for both on and off-road applications.
RedRock 4x4 manufactures their Dead Pedal Assembly from steel plate for superior strength and durability. The Dead Pedal is then completed in a matte black powder coated finish for long lasting corrosion resistance and striking good looks.
RedRock 4x4's Dead Pedal Assembly simply bolts into place using basic hand tools. The install can normally be completed in under 30 minutes. terrain.jp/2PWe3qK

Why wouldn't Jeep factory install this easy simple inexpensive pedal??

We had one of the similar and it bolted to the left instead of forward. IT WAS TERRIBLE to install we were upside down laying across the gearshifter and me and my dad were forhead to forehead to get the bolts to line up. Others than that it was super nice after it was installed and was a great bonding experience for me and him.

Does this work for Jeeps that have a clutch?

It looks like it goes where the clutch is, so I'd assume that it doesn't.

@@BotchieGaming at around the :30 second mark, she mentions the clutch. So that's why I wanted to make sure.

It's this the same process if I have a 2013 jku?

Similar, but not exactly the same! You can check out a review and install of JK dead pedal here --> www.extremeterrain.com/redrock-4x4-dead-pedal-driver-side-0717-jk-w-automatic-transmission.html

Doesn't even fit in my 4xe. The firewall bolt is not where they think it is. 🫤

Why the he🏒🏒 doesn’t Jeep install these? More people want them than don’t. So irritating😖.
