Ow! It's bands like this that kept me sane through the 80's. Music in the mainstream was pretty dire in the 80's. When people think 80's they think Wham, Paul Young, Kajagoogo, Spandau Ballet etc. and it was bad. But thank God for indie, the 1st time around.
I completely agree with you, the 80s was more than just duran duran, madonna and all those toher mainstream acts, indie music of the 80s was much better than indie music of today i must admit as well
I dj'd a gig the Bodines did a club I used to work at back in the 80s. They did a 40-minute set as headliners and sorry to say, didn't draw much of a crowd - the support band played for well over a hour though! They were called the Happy Mondays - wonder what ever happened to them?
The single was released twice, this is the 2nd time. The vocals are more prominent in the mix with more reverb on, plus towards the end some shitty reverb snare stabs. The original is a better mix and as the Bodines intended it and that is the one that "Luis Felipe Licenciando em música" and "999minimal" are talking about, and the version that originally appeared of C86. Saying that the b-side "Heard it all" is magnificent and is on the 2nd release as oppose to Scar tissue/I feel" that is found on the 1st release. I have both versions as I am a fucking geek. One of the best pop songs of the '80s and one that deserved to be a massive hit.

I love this one, I bought a white label demo 12" on Camden market in 1988. The label is hand written... I have never seen the real cover.
