woah. that's weird. the german and US versions of this sketch have the same change. in the UK version one of them has issues with correct punctuation and puts exclamation points at the end of sentences where there shouldn't be any. in the US and German version that character was changed to have issues with metaphors... I wonder how that happened, I thought all localised versions are based on the same original UK scripts.
I am a guy with very small vocabulary and you can be sure it doesn't look like this. She'd try to make the same sentence is three different variations to sound smarter
I'm a English learner. I put the wrong idioms on google, then I got the right, didn't I? "you can lead a horse to water but you can't eat it too." should be -> "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink" "crying over spilled chickens before they're hatched." should be -> "don't count your chickens before they're hatched" "you give them an inch is worth two in a bush." should be -> "A bird in hand is worth two in a bush "
manciniryan 1)"You can't have your cake and eat it too." "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink" 2)"You give them an inch and they take mile." "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." 3)"Don't cry over spilled milk." "Don't count your chickens before they hatch."

You know, to a deaf person it'll seem like the emphasis guy is just speaking perfect English.
