You do understand that the true affects after death do take place after you die and you face the consequences of the actions you took in life, right?
She's visibly more interested (in literally every single movement, mannerism, and scene), in SEEMING HOT and DIMURE than she is in describing what she does. This woman very highly fancies herself
Can you talk about testimonies of evil spirits and sigils in the mortuary? Maybe some dead people had tattoos
Unfair if we allow female to bath death male body (when the reverse hypocrit mainstream always b itching s3xism). Men with men too then, esp this is asian female who always complain about men mortician on female corpse.. Fyi many asian nurse photo touch nak d boy in an innap way during circum here
Mainstream & media always whinning if male bath female corpse, yet this female okay if her Male fam member's corpse been bath touch by female mortician, hypocrisy
“They haven’t talked back yet” girl i hope tf not

When my dad passed, he looked 98, he was actually 78. When the funeral home was finished, he looked like he was 50. It was an amazing comfort. He didn't look sick, in agony, scared. Amazing people
The opposite happened to me. Last week my dad died and he died at 47 his bday is actually been today. He died looking his age and the mortician somehow made him look older and wider in the face something was wrong with his nose too. It’s was a difficult experience
that must have been very disheartening, I'm sorry. @@antoniasmith8390
@@antoniasmith8390 that's devastating. Sorry for your loss. Love and well wishes to you. My dad just turned 50 this makes me want to appreciate him more😥 I'm so attached to my parents i feel like I'd want to die with them too.. no way i could EVER cope wity loosing them tf
😢😢😢😢😢😢
I can't say the same for when my mom passed the funeral home that had her did a bad job and that's why I've been thinking of going into mortuary science to make families have the experience you had with your dad.
What a strong beautiful woman. I had a stillborn son, my family spent 24 hours w his body then the mortician took him. She had her baby mortuary in her home. It was such a lovely place we dropped off his clothing. She sang to him while she dressed him. Everything was done so kind and beautifully. Takes a special person.
That’s devastating, I’m so sorry for your loss.

It’s going great. I’m glad I finally made that decision and got it done.
My mom looked so beautiful in her casket. I wanted to take a photo but didn't for fear of judgment. I regretted that for a while, but don't now because I remember so much more of her than just that day of deep pain.
I have to say I adore your retro style as it suits you very well. You are a credit to your profession.

I wanted to become a mortician since I was a teenager, but I ended up going into nursing instead (secondary to life events which would take too long to explain). After nursing for almost 20 years, I’m feeling so burned out and seriously considering a career change. I think it’s time for me to go back to school and follow my true calling!

After nursing for almost 18 years and watching people transition, it really makes you think about the same things. This last two years of Covid has really thrusted all of this in people's faces. It has been insane. I am not sure I could do this side of the work, but I greatly appreciate those that can.
Hi how're you doing?
I really loved to watch this lady. What I do appreciate the most is her attitude while doing her job: her look is really awesome, she enjoys her own look, she is really committed, humble and nice. These is really rare to find not only in morticians but people in general.

Your community is extremely fortunate to have someone with your temperament , aptitude and compassion to assist them in their time of loss. Hope others in the industry can emulate you and recognize that that they need to be pillars of support during a family’s difficult grieving period. It’s a job that few of us can do .
Wonderful, authentic, informative presentation. This young lady is so cool. I love her realistic and mature way of viewing things and especially how she sees the art in her work. Lacey Noel I was thinking the exact same thing!
Ikr!
It says at the start that it's 16 billion a year.
@cerulean Konie...My Dad was making $150,000 a year before he retired. It's not about the money though. If I went into it, I'd make barely $40k a year. My Dad would do so many funerals a year at no charge or help people out anyway possible. He ran these funeral homes, but did right by the families. How can you overcharge someone when they are grieving? Most in the business HATE the financial aspect. I work in an ER & hate asking for copays! I grew up in the business. It's not as bad as you all think! Directors will work with you. My Dad did so many pro bono...he was pushed to retire.
It's not the morticians that are greedy bastards. It's the funeral home owners and directors. Avoid chain mortuaries. Absolute fucking vultures.
Thank you for your professionalism and compassion towards the deceased and the loved ones left behind.
I wish this were way longer! I would love to hear and see more from her. She's awesome!
When my ex wife died from the ravages of melanoma there was nothing left of her. The embalmer made her look so good and that's how my kids remember their mom. These people are truly a blessing. Thank you

Rest on Mrs
I’m so sorry
I'm so sorry. My mother died from melanoma in 1987 when she was only 38 years old. Sadly, the funeral home did not make her look so good.
May her dear soul rest in peace
Did she say “I’m heading to go get the deceased that expired”.... what in the blue hell
The word she used was decedent..(that yes, means a dead person)...but she added just expired..to mean was like not long ago, recently.
Mama's Kitchen that’s not a joke, doctors in the medical field use that term too, even when telling a family that their loved one died 😳
Lol
I thought it was strange too haha It’s a little more dignified I guess🤷🏻 at least she didn’t say “I’m gonna go haul a dead women around”
I remembered I went to the cashier to sign some signature for my cousin's burial and then the cashier told me that "oh tha one that EXPIRED?" i was so freaaaking mad and I literally slap the cashier lop
I considered being a funeral director.... the closer I got to actually doing it the less I wanted it as a vocation.... This woman has my deepest respect as she is very professional in her approach and presentation.... Thank You Amanda.... Your awesome....
I worked in a mortuary, this brings back memories. Most people will benefit from being exposed to end of life matters. We are so alienated from death in our modern culture.

She’s actually inspirational. Everything she said is actually so professionally said & cares about. Hope she hasn’t had them deceased talk back. Damn
You should be commended for your straight-forward yet sensitive look into the work you do, I have tried for years to get a mortician to be able to understand the basics of death. They are not used to or have the desire to see the reality of someone completely being committed to preserving the dignity and essence of their life and soul and how the body is the encapsulation of the entire history of a. Human being! Your outlook, expressed by your words, seemingly are an exception and for that I thank you!
"its not the dead that can hurt you, its the living." Well said!
I am 4th generation funeral home worker and my grandfather used to say this all the time. Personally, I've never had an issue with a dead guy. A living one? All the time
My mum always said, fear the living not the dead
You can’t heal what you don’t reveal
I agree with you and I believe it. The dead are innocuous. I am more afraid of the living people who can hurt, harm, even kill, especially when they do not possess of the love of Jesus Christ in their hearts. As a teenager, I have seen corpses in the funeral home, even in the preparation room. The dead were not so scary as some of the living people walking around.
They all say that line
I've noticed that all morticians have a peculiar fashion sense lol they almost always look to be in the wrong era
Most of them could be actors, they are so professional, well spoken, and dress nicely. It seems like they have a better view on life than someone who doesn't work with people who have passed.
i'm studying to be one and i'm a tradgoth / 80's goth lol
They dress not to kill, but to look creepy.

I don't think she is weird, I just think she is annoying. She is shallow and thinks because she dresses like a 50s housewife turned goth it makes her special.
thaliasghost You sound miserable but okay.
Don't psychoanalyze strangers. It's allowed to have a critical mind and opinions. You thinking somebody has to be miserable when they do means that you probably are incapable of critical thought. See what I did there. Her work revolves around death. That's the least place where you should be into outward appearance. We all leave the world the way we came. Naked. I don't want somebody who gets her self esteem from her clothes and make up to deal with my dead body, simple. She's not weird at all.
Right It don’t even matter as long as she getting that shmoney 😂

I think it's the nature of the job u won't know what kind of extra family member will show up at the funeral you wanna be as professional or traditional as you can without looking too much dollar sign involved. Kinda like dignity and respect all mixed together in a politically correct package and vintage is the way to go
I think it's just a trend! Its either the vintage babe or the goth chic like Abby from law and order! People also get into fields they feel reflects their personality or sense of style!!
" a nice aesthetic to mix with the theme of death." what the actual hell is wrong with you??
ZilloCars I plan on being a mortician, i am a female, and don't dress vintage lol.

*don’t ask WHY your here.*
*The real question is why you stayed.*
Because I want a life
XxLilTeenGamerXx Love you’re*
Idk😭
I stayed to find out why I’m here so my reason kind of contradicts itself
Why not
my dad does this and i want to aswell
i honestly feel like even when you’re dead, you still deserve respect. i honestly found it very sweet when she said she speaks to them. just like you would speak to a sleeping baby🤗
it is a profession i am interested in, though it kind of scares me, it is still fascinating and i really want to get over it and just learn so i can do it
Will you ever shadow your dad if you decide to pursue?
She is so cool! I love her vintage style! Very beautiful girl doung abd offering an amazing service and I agree with her comment about women in this business being a much needed, welcoming change. YES!
