I'm mobility disabled and I have a little experience with getting help in airports. The buggies in Istanbul Airport are really fun to get around, one of my best experiences. The worst was Gatwick arriving with Norwegian Air who had used a wet lease A380 and had no help for the disabled at all. The Norwegian Air transfer desk was worse than useless. Though the airport staff who I flagged down was amazing.
So sorry to hear Norwegian let you down!

@@HelloOnepiece I was on a wet leased A380 that replaced the Norwegian jet I was due to fly on back in 2017. It was a bit run down, they offered none of the bells and whistles of the premium ticket I paid for, the fruit salad in the meal had mold in it. Waste of money, I felt defrauded.

I flew Turkish Business from Chicago to Istanbul in Feb. Faultless service! Amaaazing and seemingly endless food!! Could not recommend enough 👌🏾👌🏾

Dan, this review was fantastic! First and foremost, it was so soothing to watch and I love the level of detail you go into with the airports, lounges, and in-flight hospitality. When you are flying business class, those are definitely some of the amenities that you look for. I've never flown Turkish Airlines before but it's definitely on my list of airlines to try in the future. I'm still such a huge fan of Singapore Airlines (and that's probably because I have flown any middle eastern airlines before!). As always, thanks for your honest thoughts! (PS. That pasta looked super appetizing!)
Very thorough review, I loved it! I hope you enjoyed Uzbekistan, I went there in 2019, and it was an amazing experience. Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara are absolutely stunning!!!!

I'm writing this comment before I watch the video. I have flown multiple long haul flights with many different airlines (economy only) and Turkish has been the best. Looking forward to what I've been missing in business class. (have been flying regularly for 30 years and the inly way I can experience anything above economy is through these videos. Want to try once before I die!!)

I'm just glad they have a decent business class package unlike western European airlines. Seriously, I would rather stop off in Doha or dubai and take longer than fly city to city using euro business class with economy seats

Would love to see a video on current Indian airlines specifically Indigo and Spicejet, I love analyzing about airlines and I noticed that both of these have twice the number of aircraft in order then they have in-service, would really love to know this works economically for a company, is that really feasible to do?

Dan I think you're incorrect about the bedding. I flew TK from JFK several times during covid end was offered the full bedding. Perhaps no bedding on the short / mid haul?

It had already started at the end of February, and was a great surprise for us when we saw the "real meal" on our table in our İstanbul-Stockholm flight!

Flew to Istanbul from California last year and the business class was great! I will say that the service going to Turkey was much better than the service coming back. Not sure what was up with the crew on the way back but they weren't that nice. Overall food was great and many movies to choose from. Beds went all the way flat and were comfortable!
I also love your humour in your videos. Moreover, they are getting better and better, very entertaining! =)

I had the same exact meal on my Turkish flight to Doha seven years ago. The pasta was the most delicious pasta I've ever had, I couldn't believe how good it was, just a dash of olive oil and balsamico will hit the spot as well. Great video btw, greetings from Oslo.

I been to Istanbul’s New Airport...Great Airport but the downside is lack of transportation from one gate to another. It’s like walking a mile getting to your gate.!!!!!

Done three trips to Gothenburg Landvetter, its a great airport. Tried one of the lounges on my last visit- it was satisfying. As for THY- I can't wait to try them on a visit to Turkey in the future!
