"Once you put in batteries and microchips in the background of a level, you're never gonna finish that level" I feel so personally called out. I spent my time playing LBP crafting cool intro sequences and never actually publishing anything

we need a little big planet 4. Even a Sackboy 2 could incorperate a 2d level editor like little big planet.
Man I'm now realizing how many levels I made in old LBP games, but also that I don't own the PS consoles I made them on anymore :(
The best I can recall was a 'glider' level I made, dodging a few obstacles or enemies and collection orbs. And much like you, tons of empty nothing levels where an idea was forming but never finished.
I wish I had saved my own only proper level I ever published. At least in video form. It broke when it was ported to LBP2 so I only ever kept it in the original game. It was a race level called "cool guys don't look at explosions" with cool explosions happening behind you when running out from some kind of factory facility.
Never played LBP3, didn't really miss the game in the past 10 years to be honest. I just really miss my childhood and the community.
the worst part for me is that the archives don't include dragonfang7 levels, which is for me by far the best horror maps creator by a long shot, also other levels from different creators include drunken wrestlers, the good hide and seeks, the deathruns, that one donkey map where the more you hit stuff the more points you get and you could buy stuff, its a bit similar to goat simulator, that one old sniper level where one player is a sniper scope and must hunt the rest of the players hiding inside barrels and whatnot, the sword campaign map, that one old level where you play as a weird character in a sackpod and a controller then you use it to navigate the map campaign and it somehow saves your progress,theres also the troll maps and one of my all time favorite is the japanese maps, and there are many great maps that i've played aren't in the archives but i still hope for a lbp4 so we could get back our old maps
god this was such a big part of my childhood! i remember playing this with my cousin back in 2012 all day long!

If it's possible you could test the Alchemist editor * by remaking one of these levels and we could all enjoy the intro to "Escape from the Underground Temple of Destiny!" yet again for what... the 15th time?
* - I fully understand if you never want to touch or even speak about that damn thing after the years of torment it's put you through.

How'd you emulate lbp 1?? i've been really wanting to make levels on my computer for a while now since my parents sold all of the ps3 games we had (INCLUDING our GOTY edition copy of lbp1... still really salty about that) and i haven't been able to get it to work out correctly, which sucks.
hey ARD can u pls give us all mods of ctr nf btw and crash bandicoot miscellaneous modding 1 and 2 and 3 and 4/5/6 have cool mods will u release it to pubs?
