"One of the unique species only found in the Veiled Sea. It is believed to be closely related to the Basilosaurus, which lived during the Paleogene period, but this has not been confirmed. If it is, it's possible it is the evolutionary midpoint between the Basilosaurs and modern whales, so some call it the Grand Ancestor. Most members of the Basilosaurus family possess a long torso, and this species-with its long, patterned torso-is no exception. It also has a blowhole on the top of its head, and it uses it to breathe, sing, and blow bubble rings."
