This is such a wonderful tag! 🥰 So fascinating to hear about the practices of other witches, how they came to be where they are now and where they wish to go next….I can’t lie, the book recommendation bit is my favourite! ✨📖✨
You also made me laugh so much… my daughter and I are always talking about how lovely it is to receive messages, signs and portents from our family members who have died, but then always immediately follow up with “no ghosts please, no ghosts!” because we’re both terrified of them! 🫣👻🤣
It's great isn't it? I love book recs too.
Haha, love that you're also a "no ghosts" please type! Maybe one day I'll be like "sure, go for it" but I am not there yet.
Thank you for watching.

I love the idea of revisiting this in a few years. I think that would be a lovely way to reflect again on practice. I wasn't familiar with Aidan so I'm glad you mentioned them, added to my TBR Wishlist. Also dirt magic is a mooooood. Love the influences of Jim Henson and this is definitely something we share. I could relate to a bunch of what you shared, which was really lovely. It felt like a cozy chit chat and I loved learning more about your journey to here too. You described it all wonderfully. We both discuss aspects of daily practice being impacted by our bodies/brains, conditions, pain etc and I'm so thankful you mentioned it too. I'd love to hear more from you on this topic. I've spoken to it once on Patreon but I'm keen to speak and more importantly hear about it more, in more places online. So if you feel the want to do more on this, I'd totally be here for it. I feel like I best not leave too much of an essay, but I loved this. xx
Hehe, I'm a fan of the essays (and I often leave them myself when commenting on other videos).
So glad to have introduced you to Aidan Wachter, I'd love to know what you think of his work.
I've had a fair few people say they appreciate me talking about how chronic pain/fatigue/brain fog etc effects building/keeping a regular practice, so I think I will make a video on it at some point (soonish, I hope).
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment, I'm so glad this felt like a cosy chat!
xx
As a disabled person who also might be neurodivergent, I definitely would love to watch any video you make on the subject of nurturing a spiritual practice that is workable when you're a spoonie. I would love to learn your perspective. Great video! I have really enjoyed watching. Take care!
Hiya! Thank you, I think I will try and get something out before the end of the year (I'm suddenly brimming with video ideas after a long break). I know how difficult it can be (not least the way we can beat ourselves up for not living upto certain standards, whether they be ones we've set ourselves or ones set by society). I struggled for the longest time (and don't get me wrong, I still do have days where I'm far too tough on myself) but I think the first step is just letting go of any pre-conceived ideas of what a practice is supposed to look like/entail. It's really liberating. Much love to you in your spoonie spiritual journey and thank you for taking your valuable time to watch and comment. x
I agree. I’m autistic and I just have to do what works for me, not what works for anyone else. Rest is also important and sometimes the practice is as simple as a cup of tea. Now that I work more with the seasons, I’ve also thought of my ability to practice as cyclical as well, which means I’m much less hard on myself when I can’t do as much.
@@NicoleACottageWitch Love this. I think the cyclical mindset really helps. Just knowing/trusting that there's an ebb and flow to all things takes some of the stress out of not doing everything all of the time.
This was great Kelly Bear. I really enjoyed hearing more about you and your practice and it's origins and how it has evolved. I agree this is a great idea to revisit this every few years or so to see our own paths evolutions. Thank you for sharing.
It's amazing how much things can change regarding our practice and yet some things stay almost the same (like my love and practice of meditation and pathworking). Thank you for watching!
Very fun watch 💚💚💚
Thanks Shauna, glad you enjoyed it. x
I loved hearing your VR to this tag! I love your hair, very beautiful!
Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it. It's so lovely to 'meet' other witches on here on account of this tag. ☺
Loved hearing your stories and about your approach! I am just dipping my toes in witchcraft topics, so it was very interesting to me! I'm reading "Folk witchcraft" that Mnomquah recommends, now I need to have a look at "Six Ways" too :D
Hiya! Thank you lovely. Ooh, exciting! You'll be pretty set with those two books alone, I reckon.
Really cool tag. I enjoyed hearing about your practice. ❤
Thank you for watching. I really enjoyed these questions. I can't wait to see other VRs.
Great VR, Kelly. Really enjoyed listening to your thoughts. 🍀
Thank you. ☺ It was fun to do. x
I really love Aidan Wachter's books as well. I love the simplicity of it but still very effective magic. I am also neurodivergent so I need things to be simple. ty for sharing.
Hello! Simple yet effective, yes that sums it up perfectly. And adaptable, which I really like.
Absolutely loved watching this VR! Felt like chatting witchcraft over tea with a friend 🧙🏻♀️🔥 Aidan Wachter is brilliant, his Six Ways is such an inclusive, no bullshit intro to animistic witchcraft. I still need to properly finish reading Changeling, thanks for the inspo ❤️
Hiya! I really enjoyed the questions you set. Changeling was such an enjoyable read for me, I just find his approach so accessible. I know I will be working through/with it for years to come, just like Six Ways. Would love to know your thoughts on Changeling once you've finished it.
Thank you the tag and for watching. 💜
This is a nice tag.
Isn't it just? Really great questions.
@@lilpinkbear I would love for you to check out my VR to this tag, but not, no problem. ❤️
@@FarahWayAstrologyandTarot I will 100% check it out! xx
I remember Silver Ravenwolf book too! I don’t have teen witch because I was in my 20s at the time but I have all her other books still.
It was definitely 'a moment' in witch history wasn't it? I still have a bunch of hers (and even a more recent one), just really wish I'd hung onto Teen Witch for sentimental reasons. Oh well.
Thank you for watching Lou. xx

Heyy Kelly, i wonder if there's a way you can turn up the sound of the microphone a bit? That would be a good thing.... 🤗❤️
Hiya, I think I just didn't have it near enough because it's better in my more recent videos I've filmed. I have it turned all the way up in the back end of the studio software I record on.
@@lilpinkbear cool! Love the tag, it sounds so lovely and consistent witchy growing process in spite of the atheist phase, we all need one of those... 😉
However i have to disagree with you about the Pink elephant 😏
I have also begun to suspect I am neurodivergent, and as other neurodivergent ppl on witchtube/tarottube describe things they do it consistently validates my suspicion.
