This little video was partly inspired by two of my friends, Eric and Vicky. It's also my little gift to Vicky.

August 3, 2019, my best friend sent this to me after I went through a tough breakup, she died on September 8, 2019… every year today, I listen to this song as I get reminded that she was and will always be there for me and that everything will be okay…
This song truly helped me survive through my darkest phase of depression.

This reminds me of me and my best friend... she helped me when I was on the rock bottom, even when she was going trough tough times with her relationship with her mother and family, she still struggles with it, she really doesn't deserve to be treated that way, where she can't do what she loves and needs to do, and instead has to do things her mother tells her... it pisses me off, but I hope I am at least making her slightly more happy,when we call or chat together... My friend, you helped me so much, and I learned a lot from you, I couldn't imagine life without you, cause you make it so much better and brighter. I just hava to say THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE FOR ME, WHEN NOBODY WASN'T ❤

I know other people have put forth this idea, but looking at subtle imagery in the video, and how things changed when he picked her up and flew with her, it really does feel like she used to have wings, and for some reason they had to be removed - in some parts it even looks like the expressions are telling a story of how those two met/bonded, flying together. Often, throughout the video she is looking skyward when she gets upset, like her mind is where it used to be, up in the clouds with the winds aloft - she's happy he's there and trying his best to help her, but he's also a reminder of what she lost - and how something they used to do together simply can't happen anymore. But when he picks her up and flies with her on his back, she seemed so much more... at peace, like she was back where she belonged, with the one she cared for, and he was more then happy to be her wings now that she had lost hers.
Maybe I am wrong, I'm just reading expressions and body language of the characters in the video, and I really hope it is as I think because it makes the video so much more emotional and touching. It was always beautiful, but putting this thought to it just makes me cry.

I remember watching this years ago, it being my favourite video on the internet for the longest time. Then I forgot about it, and then a lot happened in my life. I'm still young and naive and going through a rough patch. When this showed up I started crying. My pure love for this animation means so much to me and it always will.

This might not seem like a big deal to most people, but I can't thank you enough for giving the unicorn a proper lion's tail. It's a part of their anatomy that gets constantly forgotten, so it's really refreshing to see someone remember it.
