I like how they made Cinderheart have stripes but not Cinderpelt, signifying that they are two different cats with different lives, but still shared something.
Plus the cheek markings are on opposite sides. I love these little details in MAPs.
I'm crying so hard rn, Cinderpelt is the warrior cat I've always connected with most, because 8 years ago, I was seriously injured in a car accident, and I will never be able to walk again. This MAP makes me so sad and happy at the same time. In that same car crash, my mum died, and I will always blame myself for that. But my family, my friends and my boyfriend have all been the most supportive, caring people in all of earth and I love them all so much. They have given me a second life, almost like Cinderheart, when I was ready to just give up

When Cinderpelt died protecting Sorreltail’s kits, I literally froze. I kept rereading that line over and over again hoping that I got something wrong...
I was expecting her to die because of the story going on for leafpool
But when she did i read the line over and over again, i thought i was prepared but i wasn't.

I honestly love the way that cinderpelts “rebirth” was illustrated here, it makes it a lot better to me that she was just kinda living through her and not like merged with her. The idea that Starclan just said “screw this one kit let’s make it cinderpelt again!” Always bothered me. The way it’s just her still with the clans and just cheering on/living through cinderheart makes it a better concept than what the Erins did. Literally cried at the end of this map which I didn’t expect.

If you read her special edition book, you see that she wanted to be a warrior, but was gifted the ability to feel ppls pain, meaning she should be a medicine cat. But she hated that

So you know how Yellowfang was a mother but she had to give Brokenstar up and her other kits died? Cinderpelt was her second chance at being a mom. She helped Cinderpelt so much after her injury and taught her how to be a medicine cat. I literally sat on my bed for a good 5 minutes crying because of this.

I was already on the brink of tears cause I loved Cinderpelt and Yellowfang in teh books and I was so sad when both of them died, ya know what, I just realized that I really just love most of the medicine cats in all the books -_-

When I was younger, I saw this map and was amazed, I knew who cinderpelt was, but not cinderheart, i come back to this map, and realized this map holds so much more than our eyes can even begin to comprehend, it doesnt just show cinderpelts life, it shows the challenges the cats went through, the losses, the heartbreak, the romance, the blood, the battles, everything. It shows the differences beetween the 1st series and the last series, warrior cats has taught me so much, when I was sad and lost in thought, I thought warrior cats, when I couldnt go to sleep, I dreamed of warrior cats, when I was eating at my school cafeteria, I used to pretend I was eating a mouse and I was the med cat, I used to rp online and irl with my friends, what more could I want? I will be reminded of cinderpelt when my challenges overcome me, when i feel worthless... I will think back to this brave she cat... Who went through the journeys we will one day go through, thank you, warrior cats

I feel exactly the same. 4 years ago when I saw this MAP it didn't really have as much meaning as it does now. I feel like in a way I've grown up with warriors and relate to a few of the characters.
Lets just take a moment of silence for yellowfang. She helped cinderpelt when every cat thought it was impossible. and starclan for giving her a second chance at life as a warrior. (Cinderheart)
And then Jayfeather, who Yellowfang was the spirit guide for, followed in her footsteps with Briarlight and never let her try to think that she was lesser because of her injury. One of the greatest parts of OotS and AVoS.
This holds so much nostalgia for me, I was once a young kid who had never heard of warrior cats and I found this. Now i'm older and still in love with the book series, this song now makes me so nostalgic and happy that it's not even funny. I love this map and everything else it brought into my life. Thank you

This MAP gives me chills every time I watch it. 6 years this MAP has been out, and people still love it to this day. That's crazy.
rewatching this after years of leaving the warriors community and holy shit i think cinderpelt is my favourite character i never realized how amazing her story is when i was younger and this is just amazing !!! literally sobbing into my ramen bowl writing this- the animators did her story so well
“Don’t blame yourself” makes me cry because when my dog got run over, i ran to her and i saw her on the ground looking at me. She wagged her tell like as if she’s trying to tell me “it’s okay”. i burst out in tears. And now, I can kinda relate to this video because of how they say “don’t blame yourself”. But now i know that in the afterlife, she’s out in the rainbow bridge playing in the meadows with all of the other dogs..💞❤️

It's confirmed that she has a weaker communication with Starclan than most medicine cats, but they don't blame her because it was not her destiny. Starclan did not let Cinderpelt into the world of Warriors as a medicine cat, as a warrior. This is why in her specific case, they let her reincarnate and play out the destiny she was meant to have.

coming back to this years later it still makes me cry lol. when i first saw it i was amazed by the animations on an individual level; i wasnt wrong to be, theyre really really good.
but what amazes me now that i didnt appreciate before i can only call amazing direction/a script from an amazing director with a vision.
the synchrony of the story to the music and lyrics, condensed to important moments and emotions, the decision to show cinderpelt alongside cinderheart rather than within her, all of that --- im sure this is the most perfect warriors map ive ever seen still because of the combination of all these elements.

I come back to this every few months since it came out, this video introduced me to the song itself and I carried it through my head all throughout my residential living after I had attempted. I kept drawing small little characters while I'd write the lyrics out next to them, remind myself of the things in the song like a mantra. It's super cheesy, but for 14 year old me, it was everything I needed. After 7 months I got out, and I feel like a major part was due to this project. I don't know if anyone will see this, but if you do, thank you. Thank you for making this and choosing everything so correctly. It aligned with me so so perfectly and I felt so much less alone

Cinderpelt is one of the best Warrior cat characters out there and she didn't deserve to die (dumb badger) but at least she comes back as Cinderheart and lives her life like how she wanted to.

I think Cinderpelt stayed with Cinderheart for a while. Cinderheart is basically a reincarnation of Cinderpelt, but doesn't know what to do with her life (maybe). so she gets confused and starts wondering if she should continue Cinderpelt's role as a medicine cat, or be a warrior. Lionblaze later tells Cinderheart that she does not need to follow any sort of prophecy or whatever, so Cinderheart remains a warrior. Then Cinderpelt goes to Starclan I guess. Just don't take my word as fact.....
Antonio Manso cinderheart was in a sort of weird limbo where cinderpelt's spirit (and memories) were, in a sense, connected to her body. It wasn't like, I'm just gonna watch over a cat who was inconspicuously born right when I died and looks exactly like me (the hunters will probably do something like that someday) but more of a split personality thing, but with souls. Cinderheart can access cinderpelt's memories and knowledge, and I think sometimes cinderpelt can interact with the world via cinderheart. As we all know, cinderheart chooses to be a warrior, hence differing from cinderpelt's path, setting her spirit free to starclan. (That's just my ten cents (wonder if anyone will get that reference ))

I really hope Cinderpelt gets a super edition or novella one day! I'd love to read the story from her POV, especially after she was told by Starclan she was going to die.

This map is perfect, it shows how yellow’fang seems grumpy but really helped cinder’pelt and a lot of the cats around her. Cinder pelt has a warriors spirit, and really helped leaf’pool. She was so brave knowing she would die. But just accepting is so amazingly amazing. Leaf’pool or cinder’pelt didn’t deserve the anguish but that is just life. Cinder’pelt being able to be in cinder’hearrts body is Weird, but in every way she has the right to enjoy the life she could never have, I just wish more Star clan cats could do that. Thank you for this

Cinderpelt always had a warrior spirit in her. Even as a medicine cat, she was willing to do whatever was needed to protect those kits and their mother. I think Starclan saw the true power of her spirit and gifted her that second chance to be the warrior she was meant to be.
Though there are other acts who never got to be a warrior but they didn’t get this chance?

@@warriorcatsfan9366 erm... kinda defeats the purpose of being dead if everyone gets a second chance. She had the makings of a great warrior, and Tigerclaw stole that future from her. She embraced the life of a medicine cat, but she forever longed for the life she lost as a warrior. Part of her did die on that road, and she felt hollow and empty for a good while after that. Yellowfang breathed new life into her as a healer.
I didnt say everyone should have a second chance, and what about Swiftpaw, Gorsepaw and more? They didnt get a second chance, as i said. Starclan just has favourites.

I remember watching this ages ago, and when I saw it appear in my recommended and I was like, oh boy, time to cry again! Then I balled my eyes out even more than I thought I would. The song and animation fit so well together.

This map saved me a lot of pain and money...so I was at school and the led from my mechanical pencil broke off into my EYE. It had worked it's way under my eyelid. A teacher came and tried to help me I thought it had worked and the nurse checked my eye and said it was gone, so I went home. it was STILL there, it wouldn't come out. So I slept on it.I told my friends it was still there and one of them told me to watch this map so I could cry. I watched it and cried of course and it came ooooouuuutttt!!!!!!

I was young and hadn't read or experienced death before and bluestar was the first real major character death.) Oh yeah, I also cried at Briar's death. I recently cried while reading Mothwing's Secret, twice, just because I've been in a really bad emotional state lol

The fact I can go and rewatch this about 4 years after I stopped actively reading warrior cats and still cry thinking about Cinderpelt's life and how she got a second chance to live the life she truly wanted to live really shows how good of a story warriors is.
Cinderpelt is the best. Screw Spottedleaf, screw Firestar, CINDERPELT IS AMAZING! Her life was so hard, and it just wasn’t fair. But she fought through. Cinderpelt totally deserved that second chance at life.

I used to watch this on repeat 6 years ago shortly after it came out! CinderPelt was/is one of my favorite cats, and I absolutely adored the animation and music choice in this animation. 6 years later it still holds up brilliantly! Thank you for the memories and nostalgia. The warmth and fondness I felt rewatching this isn’t something that can easily be recreated. :)

I cried over this. It may me sad but happy. I was never really close to Cinderpelt, but grew closer to her over the fact that she became more like Yellowfang. Over the time she’s been around Cinderpelt brought me joy. I love her spirit and hopes and personality overall she was just…. Astonishing in her character. And I truly believe that she succeeded more than any cat might possibly be able to
Cinderpelt felt like she useless to her clan. So she used her disability to help others. I feel in love when I first read about her in fire and Ice. And she died a true warriors death. One could argue starclan did foretell her death. But even if they didn't, I still certainly believe Cinderpelt would've died. I love her so much. I fell in love with her energy and optimism. I almost cried in school while I read the part she was on the thunderpath. Cinderpelt didn't deserve all the pain she went through. Loving Firestar, the forest fire, getting yelled at by her own apprentice. Cinderpelt has a special place in my heart that I can never forget. And she will live on as Cinderheart for many more moons to come.
