Dominique. I wanted to share with you. I’m 57. I lost my 22 year old son Clayton 1 year ago on Mother’s Day to Muscular dystrophy. I’ve been his caregiver and run my own boutique winery. This last year dealing with this devastating loss and menopause and keeping my business going has been rough. SOMA Vanishing Edge panties are the BEST!!! Launder them in cold water in a lingerie bag and hang them to dry (no dryer heat.) They will last you for quite a while if you launder them properly! I am wearing a pair right now. 😁
I hand wash them and lay them flat to dry. I have 12 soma vanishing edge panties and wear one each day, so about every 10 days, I hand wash them all once using gentle detergent. Soak them for a few minutes, then gently rub them. The whole process takes about 10 min. So simple and easy.

Do the bras run true to size or did you have to size up? The nearest Soma to me is about 5 hours away. I don't want to have to pay to return it if it doesn't fit. :)
ACatsLife (PisicasLife): If you can, I would highly suggest a trip to the store to get properly fitted by an expert. I wear SOMA bras, but recently they came out with a different style I wanted to try. We started with my normal 38DD, but discovered I needed a different size.

I was recently listening to a pod cast where the two interviewees mentioned being at a women's tech convention and the question "how do you have it all?" came up (and both mentioned it's one of those questions where you never really get an answer to) The speaker at the convention (busy, successful career woman) said this: "Outsource as much and whatever you can. That's what I do". Now I know not everyone is in the position to be able to outsource (having a cook, nanny, cleaner, hair/nail appointments, secretary, assistant etc. ) but I do find making a few sacrifices to be able to outsource some things is so worth it and really does help to stay afloat and sane!
The thought of not continuing to try 20 different things for each one of these undergarment issues or waste a ton of money or sending them back and all that effort just to settle for the best I can find in the end is such a relief not to have to anymore!!! Thank you Dominique!
Yes! Soma! I thought I recognized the bra and undies in the beginning. I discovered this brand/company in my late 40’s. I adore them, especially their Semi Annual sales. The Vanishing Bra is so comfortable! I’m a weird 57 year old who’s hated - detested bras since I had to start wearing them at age 13. All my life I just wore boring white and or beige bras from JC Penny. The main reason for this was the lack of pretty bras in size 40D. Now it’s red, purple, yellow, teal, blue and or pink with black polka dots. Jeez, I sound like a commercial 😆
I love Soma. I wear plus size and had never looked into Soma underwear until about a year ago. I was so pleased to see the array of sizes they carry and now I’m addicted to their products. As always interesting and informative! A small piece of advice I received from the shop I buy my bras is to never pop your T-shirt bra inside out and into the other cup. This can break down the foam insert. I always stored mine like that til I got a little earful when I did it at the shop 🤷♀️

I bought some vanishing Soma panties based off of another CZcamsr recommendation, and I really like them. I was surprised by the "sticky" interior of the fabric but got accustomed to it quickly. Great recommendations.

Questioning though if buying bigger, do the “ears” peak out of the top of a sun dress? Meaning they come up too high due to sizing up. I’m so interested in trying these and want to make a smart buying choice.

I love Soma. I wear plus size and had never looked into Soma underwear until about a year ago. I was so pleased to see the array of sizes they carry and now I’m addicted to their products. As always interesting and informative! A small piece of advice I received from the shop I buy my bras is to never pop your T-shirt bra inside out and into the other cup. This can break down the foam insert. I always stored mine like that til I got a little earful when I did it at the shop 🤷♀️

I bought some vanishing Soma panties based off of another CZcamsr recommendation, and I really like them. I was surprised by the "sticky" interior of the fabric but got accustomed to it quickly.

Questioning though if buying bigger, do the “ears” peak out of the top of a sun dress? Meaning they come up too high due to sizing up. I’m so interested in trying these and want to make a smart buying choice.
ja bond: I suspect they would, and would work better with dresses or tops which have wider straps and a deep V neckline. The other bra cups she showed would likely work better.
