There hasn’t been a dogfight in 50 years. We don’t buy fighters anymore, the last non-Striker we bought was the 1980’s designed F-22 and we quickly cancelled that program at a measly 186 produced and destroyed the tooling to make sure the US couldn’t purchase another obsolete POS. As far as warship and tank plinking with Rods From God, we’re not going to share the most classified systems in our history with Ukraine or Russia. They can sit and wonder what’s happening to them. Our cost to destroy a tank is about $5. A warship costs $200 to cut in half. A city, $1,000. Did you think USSF was inaugurated without combat capability?

T-50 be able to do full cobra. Sergei Bogdan said the T-50 more maneuverable than Su35. Just now the plane is still learning to fly.

It's a Cobra manover, very stressful for the airplane. And he is not trying, he did it flawlessly.
He is going slow with a high angel of attack (high alpha) than jerst the stick backward and the vector trust + all the computers in this amazing plane, let it do the cobra manover. This is a thing that no F18 for example, can ever do. Most planes are not able to pitch up that fast and if the pilots get it to do that, it will stall and flatspin into the earth.

All jets that use the su27 frame are huge asf, see them compared to American fighter jets and they dwarf them in size yet they have super maneuverability, and the su27 could do the cobra without thrust vectoring

@@digvijaysandhu4688 india wasn't providing anything, and they only pulled out when they found out it wasn't stealthy enough. the real problem is that the stealth engines the plane requires have been put on hold due to other projects and the current engines have a huge heat signature. due to that the program cant be mass produced and the development being delayed keep sucking more money in making the project more delayed and more expensive.

Yes, that's the whole purpose, the creator (pugachev indeed) was in a fighter fully loaded when finding this maneuver
It's speed limited tho. You cannot do this while flying even remotely close to supersonic.
