I think we just need to take a moment to appreciate the following, even though I'm writing this 5 years later: ~ The drummer - whether that's Sarah or not I'm not sure - is absolutely killing it. Round of applause please. ~ The overall vibe during the performance ~ Harry's voice. It's raw and unfiltered, and this performance - in my opinion - is one of those rare instances where you can't say "it's autotune." because I've seen him live, and believe me, it's not. He's simply an angelically talented individual, and he deserves a heck load of respect. Absolutely beautiful.

He’s got a stunning voice and does chain justice, coming from someone that grew up on Mac. There is only one LB however. Very difficult to follow that wild voice n raw talent. Harry, though really good, just misses a bit of attack.

Making a song his own is what he usually does when he covers them. It can sound wrong to you, but this version is like this on purpose.

Same here. I grew up on music of the 60's, 70's, 80's. I had Rumours in my Walkman for about 6 months solid, listening all day at work on repeat. I am also a Harry Styles fan. I think he's a talented guy and a good entertainer. I really enjoyed his acting too in Nolan's "Dunkirk".

Try again. He is close with Stevie, and knowing Harry he probably asked her for a permission to do this. This is what he wanted, it’s not 'wrong played'. Making a song his own is what he usually does when he covers them. It can sound wrong to you, but this version is like this on purpose.

Red 91 we wont know if he is going to be popular in 40 years time until that day comes. obviously fleetwood mac, the beatles etc are legendary and comparing harry and one direction to them would seem outrageous to some people. but that being said..one direction is statistically the most successful boy band in history, so saying that he “is just a kid from a boy band” seems far off. in my opinion (and in the opinion of thousands and thousands of others) harry is very talented and has more to him than just being in a boy band. i’m guessing you aren’t a huge fan of him, and you wouldn’t know how far he has come since the beginning. he has achieved so many incredible things in the past 10 years, and over that time has grown so much as an artist. moral of the story, a lot of boy bands disappear after a few years, but i truly believe harry will stay an iconic artist for many years to come.

He deserves all his success, but he’s not rivalling the Beatles, the Rolling Stones or Fleetwood Mac yet, because he hasn’t written enough utterly classic songs (if any). Damn. I remember when this kid auditioned for that tv talent show. Then one direction was huge and i never cared bc i am too old for that. But this kid has MADE me sit up and listen (since seeing him on SNL). He freaking delivers the vocal. Gorgeous voice. Rich and strong. He has intention, he is present. Storyteller.

I'm a hardcore Fleetwood Mac fan and I was kind of scared for someone like him to do a cover like this but honestly this is really amazing, major respect to him and his band mates. Also that bass line gets me everytime and the bassist definitely didn't disappoint.
Brittney D you are so right about the bassist, the baseline in this song is iconic so there's more pressure on the bassist than usual but it sounded really good (btw the way john shakes it up in the version of this song from The Dance album gets me ERRYTIME from one Mac fan to another😂😍)

The queen herself, Stevie, would agree. She's a big fan of his. Sang three songs with him at the Troubadour in LA. They sounded amazing together. Same here. I grew up on music of the 60's, 70's, 80's. I had Rumours in my Walkman for about 6 months solid, listening all day at work on repeat. I am also a Harry Styles fan. I think he's a talented guy and a good entertainer. I really enjoyed his acting too in Nolan's "Dunkirk".
I'm from this generation too and being a bit of a metal head I would love to hear him do a cover of something like Judas Priest "You've Got Another Thing Coming" only because I know he can pull it off. Saw him perform at the Troubadour, this kid has it!
