Animal Crossing's HIDDEN NES Emulator using My ACTUAL NES Collection

- Before the Virtual Console for the Wii, one of Nintendo's early attempts at emulation were the 19 hidden NES games included. For some people who may not have had an NES and haven't played these games in years prior, this was a big deal. But little did anyone know that there was also a hidden NES emulator that was discovered in 2018, that allowed you to load up actual NES roms. For this video, I use ROM dumps from my actual NES collection, and how Animal Crossing's NES emulator runs them is demonstrated here.

The reason why the NES games look soft is because you are running the game in 480p instead of 240p. Remember that AC was originally an N64 game, so 240p is it's native resolution. As a result, the main game and the NES titles look too soft, while the NES games are also poorly integer scaled.
Thankfully you can force the game into 240p via Swiss and run it in it's proper resolution.
I agree that someone should make an AC color palette for the analog pocket
It's a shame that there is no way to download the NES ROMs you're playing in Animal Crossing into your GBA, that would've been amazing to see.
Battletoads looks to be the most glitchy out of all the games you've shown off. The others seemed to be from the color palettes or slightly different sound effects. I noticed Battletoads has some jumpy video in some parts, and the brown on the ground is not supposed to be brown.
I feel like return of the joker would have a similar problem were he to try that one
This blew my mind! 🤯
I also feel so nostalgic for GameCube Animal Crossing. 😭 Even for those e-reader cards which were so clunky.
