I realize this is a week old video but I am die hard Jones fan and I truly believe that Thiago Santos was a great match up. Here's what I think. Jones knew Thiago messed up his knee but didn't want anyone to say that he only won that match because he took down a guy with a blown out knee. So Jon took him on in the fairest way possible, (in this scenario), which is fighting standing up. I also noticed Jon didn't throw any crazy moves which meant he took Thiago very seriously. I also think Jon didn't go all out so that if the match did go to a rematch, Thaigo wouldn't be able to study the footage. With Thiago having a messed up leg, technically, Jon wouldn't be able to study Thiago to the fullest as well since Thiago was fighting unlike himself because of the injury.
