If anyone’s curious how dustins hot sauce is, it’s pretty good. I bought it weeks before the fight bc I wanted to support him. I ran out a week ago and just ordered two more bottles. Flavor is really good, spice level is mild.
I don't think it was quite frayed either that was an overstatement. Imo sometime who's mind is frayed would be unable to even walk out to the octagon. But he was probably just thinking too much about how this is gonna look if he loses rather than being in the moment. That's when Conor had the advantage and had him beat before a punch was ever thrown.
As a fellow Irish man myself I have a tone of respect for Dustin. What he went through and came out in the end on top wasn’t easy and he deserves everything good coming his way

Conor achieved everything he set out to do, had insanely massive highs and pretty huge lows. The run from ufc debut up to the Alvarez fight was insane, and I think the effect that kind of momentum can have is overlooked. After Floyd and the Khabib loss and personal dramas, It will be hard to reach that kind of peak again but I’d love to see it
Nate Diaz took him out the same year before he became a lightweight champ while I don't deny it was entertaining, alot of fighters could have been champ like Tony or stayed champ. UFC fucked up giving it to him and letting him do whatever like boxing.
He looks soft in his body now more so then the 155 conor that fought alvarez that was the peak for me the move to lightweight, Arguments with khabib and Woodley was almost like he was backed into a corner and he took all that out on poor alvarez I don't see him getting back there.
I think that’s what made old Conor so good. He’s get into his opponents head- it would make them angry and stiff- just charging at him from the start . Which is perfect for his style. All he needed to do was slip and rip his left- like he always did
