12 gallons of fuel on one side of the boat is a very bad idea. The weight needs to be centered. Maybe throw another 12 gallon on the opposite side brother.

You might consider teaching your sister to weld. You could mount the part tack it in and she could finish it out while you move on to another place. She does a great job filming, I'll bet with some practice she could be a valuable asset!!

Make *SURE* you ground that gas tank to the hull, and install a blower.
The foam isolators are good but create a high risk of static arcing without a good ground strap.
    Don't forget a blower system.
    Looks like fun already!
Also the washers on the thru hull connections need to be 316 stainless.

You may want to think about adding 2 steering cables, 2 pulling, 2 pushing. Your just totally reliant on the steering to work especially at speed as you've not got a rudder. If 1 cable breaks, locks up or comes loose your kinda boned where as if you have one cable on each side of the jet direction nozzle then your covered in the case of failure. . Either way, Great work as usual.

You might think about putting some flotation in the front , sides and maybe even in the engine if you can. Also make sure you put a bulge pump that can pump fast.. You definitely want a windshield as a jut boat can almost submarine if you jump waves or spin it fast. You will also want a kill switch on a bracelet and a dry cell battery as you will be bouncing hard on this thing.

Didn't catch you mentioning putting in a blower to vent your engine compartment. Since you're planning to close the engine compartment, it's highly recommended to install a blower too to vent any gasoline fumes. Jetskis don't make a use of blowers, but still recommending pulling the seat to vent the bilge before starting the engine.

What else can i do with all these sled engines in an area where it doesn't snow. Im on the chesapeake bay in Southern Maryland so a little boat sounds fun.

I want to see the smallest full suspension go-kart that is all aluminum and super light. They sell these cheap 125cc 3 speed with reverse and electric start for around $300 on Amazon. Make it hopefully small enough to fit in the back of a pickup. If it is light enough that engine should make it a fun ride. I am not talking a rock bouncer, but something that can do well on and off road. Just rear wheel drive too. Something reliable and fun that you would let others drive.

You should actually use Vinegar instead of Bleach on mould. Bleach can actually help BlackMould spread. Also, I started working for Line-X coatings in 1999 for one of the first locations in Canada. At the time, head office in Red Deer tested out the bed liner coating on the hull of a speed boat. The coating ended up reducing the boats 1/4 mile time because of the texture. The texturing helped reduce drag because of the water bubbles that would be created. One would think that you would want a smooth boat bottom, but apparently your better off coating the boat bottom.

Dude I have always loved all your projects and ideas. We pretty much love all the same stuff. Taking anything and everything small and sorta slow and simply put as much power and engine that'll fit. And bingo, quick summary of what makes me smile. But on a serious note sometimes I'll get ahead of myself and focus on the wrong thing in a build. Usually because I move to fast and have minimal patience with builds. This cost alot of time energy and worst of all MONEY. I don't have alot of this. But though I have yet to build a screamer of a boat, my mind goes straight to, the drive and engine will be most crucial. These components have got to be perfect. Plumb and level. Good and mounted solid. And perfectly aligned. So keep on keeping on. And I'll keep watching

I feel like you should have a little support bar running across the top of that unit sticking out the back.. Because it sticks so far out there than If you hit a rock or stump the wrong way: I has a lot of leverage that can damage it, especially when you're jumping waves. Just a little half inch bar across the top that sits right up against it, just to give it some support so that it won't flex upward when you hit something. You can make it bolt on so that it's easy to take off... I know the rail on each side will block most things-- but it needs more support IMO.. to me: just looking at it

I wish I was naerby.. I'd come help you troubleshoot... I took electronics class in high school and have rebuilt countless bikes and quads (and cars, actually). and I have a Rotax buggy myself.. I turned a CBR600 into a quad. I still have cr500's and 450R and a banshee, etc. etc......... What I'll tell you is: get a volt/ohm meter and start testing the basics. It could be something as simple as your on/off safety switch just isn't working and you might have to pull it apart and clean the contacts (or just get a new one). You can either pierce the wires and test for voltage.. or trace those wires all the way back to the computer module and test poke at the little connector pins on the back of the connector, where the wires go in (which is called "back probing"). Once you learn how to start test and eliminating things that aren't the problem, then you'll zero in on it.... Sometimes it's just a bad ground.. You were able to spin it over, but the computer needs ground wires hooked up too... and they may have bad connections. The stator should only be there to charge up the battery, (like an alternator), since you have a battery in this system. But there will probably be another little pick up coil there somewhere, which is what tells the coils when to fire. You need to get a schematic so that you can check the powers and grounds at the computers, there are usually more than one for each of them.. On a bike, you have to deal with neutral safety switches and clutch switches and kick stand switches, etc.. or it won't start.. I'm not sure about what safety's this Rotax had, other than the lanyard switch.. It's possible that it could just be a bad coil.. but I wouldn't go throwing parts at it.. You need to sit down and watch some videos and learn how to troubleshoot the coil and the switches and powers and grounds, etc. etc.. and start eliminating possible problems... Getting a wiring diagram is crucial.. You might have to buy a service manual if you can't find it online easily. I have the service manual for all my bikes.. It just makes life easier. It's hard to test all those wires if you don't know what each is supposed to be doing. You MUST find a wiring diagram.. Just think about it in sections and you'll narrow it down much quicker than you think. ord3r a clamp style multimeter that can check for AC and DC current BOTH. (make sure it can do both, because most cheap ones can only do AC current through the clamp). There are several on szkcamaznon under thr^ty bucks.
