He and De Zerbi better suits for the current squad we have at Milan. Our team is not built as italian style defensive team like Juve and Inter so we should not deviate from the path that we chose 2 seasons back and continue to build strong European style team for Cheampions League.
Milan management have no ambition. That’s what signing Fonseca shows. This management doesn’t want to take risks and go big. Milan needed a coach who is a serial winner. A coach who has a winning mentality and only Conte and Sergio Conceição fit that bill. This signing is a disappointment and if Fonseca fails then Cardinale should sell the club and get out of Milan.
@@ziontrain7887 trust me Conte will fail with this team he needs defensive players and especially in midfield and with Conte you can get success only in Seria A which is not important for the current management and a lot fans except italian ones. We want Cheampions League and with Conte it is not possible he always gets eleminated in a group stage regardle how strong his team is. Imagine he eleminated in a group stage with Juve Inter Chelsea etc. In my opinion he is the worst choice that Milan can make we need to build a team which plays attacking style regardles of resuls in the beginning.
@@ziontrain7887No this team needed a young modern coach like motta or de zerbi.That can grow WITH the team and we could for real build an era with De zerbi for example who is milan fan.He reminds of sacchi he changes the way of playing football like pep said.Juve was smart enough.Good we dont get conte stay away.Fonseca also needs to stay away he dont have potential and isnt a serious winner either
the one thing i do like about his tactics are that the fullbacks play offensively and that the wingers are more inside
do you think that leao being more inside will lead to more production from him? not worried about theo whatsoever he killed it on the wingback these past few seasons

I see alot of these plays would have been goals if the wingers were leao or pulisic and the center forward morata. Fonseca brings game, if you have a small club with no talent then too much game means less defence and more goals conceded at the cost of game. Lets hope our Milan players can actually have game and continue winning

I'm skeptical about Fonseca, but one of his main priorities is getting players to always be comfortable on the ball so they can maintain possession, and I'm excited for that. I love Pioli for what he did, but ever since the Scudetto winning season, we've looked so slow and lethargic on the ball, and we can't hold onto it at all against teams that can press well - remember Liverpool's B or C side dominating us.

Watching the video, a very offensive and stable football was presented (better than Guardiola's) but what is worth thinking about is the fact that all the plays resulted in almost no goals. I would give Fonseca as the last choice, seeing as he has Sérgio Conceição and Conte to sign.

He is not a bad coach, but he is also not someone to get excited about. He is in the same category as the ones people like the most(Motta, RDZ). Fans don't know shit. Most of the time they are wrong. Weren't we the ones who wanted Giampaolo back then? People went over the internet and created videos of his tactics, triangles, and passing patterns bla bla, and he was the worst coach in the history of Milan; the same thing happened with Pioli; they protested, and he brought us Scudetto.
