Coleman would probably rather be referred to as a thought leader than a cult leader-- that's exactly what he's challenging. Or we could just call him a bodhisattva; he's hanging back on our behalf, waiting for us to catch up to him.

But with reading the book (I know a person can write whatever they want), I had the impression that he is working on his own racist behaviors and acknowledges them. But there is a difference between words and actions, and as I said, I don't follow his social media carrier.

And that the more centrist or practical one's views are the more an opponent is tempted to wade into the waters of misrepresentation and strawmanning -- especially if that opponent is acting in bad faith.

He's so ridiculous. I literally divested from Jack Dorsey's companies because he donated to the guy. The donation shows a severe lack of judgement and intellectual rigour from Jack. Surprising, because he seems like an otherwise smart guy.

James Lindsey has written (on the site New Discourses) an explanation as to why people with these views (as in CRT, and wokeness) won’t debate. Reading that made me really understand on a broader level, and see perhaps why I always got the answers such as “educate yourself”, and that they won’t do that “emotional labor” - frankly just “sit down, shut up and listen”, when I was asking questions or wanted to have a discussion or had another opinion or point of view (especially since I’m not American). I can recommend it and I’ll link it here.
