    I really wish safety gear was not so expensive. Many more people would use it, I believe. I would love to have one of these setups instead of wearing a passive respirator under my hood or face shield. I guess i'll just have to save up for it. Thanks for the demo video and keep it up!

      Yes the PAPR's are expensive. When you are ready let us know we do have sales and promos. Also we do have some financing options for monthly payments if that helps.

      I agree dude. It's really unfortunate. I'm a young guy just out of school and I don't want to be in the hospital during my retirement because of fumes. I wear a half mask now with the p100's but the ones for organic vapor (galvanized, stainless, aluminum) are too big to fit under my helmet. I guess if I can save 1500 I'll buy this it seems to be the best but man it sucks to not be able to afford for so long.

    I am undecided between this system and the speedgkas 9100xxi fx with adflo. Leaning more towards the speedflas just because I have used them before and have one filter now for over 20 yrs. And still works well and was used very hard over the yrs. But I also hear good things about this optrel

    • @BakersGas
      @BakersGas  Před 3 lety +3

      Honestly I would really encourage you to go with the e3000X! The clarity on the Crystal is significantly better than the Speedglas. The PAPR is lighter and in our opinion better as far as battery life and filtration. (air 500 times cleaner!)

    If you get just the helmet is it possibly compatible with other papr systems? I currently own the rpb z4 but it has too many pieces in the helmet that constantly need replaced. Would i potentially be able to hook up that papr system with the optrel crystal 2.0 helmet?

    Which is better the miller T94I PAPR or the E3000X? I noticed the e3000X did not have any FR protection for the hose and it seemed excessively long, is there a covering available as an accessory?
