The early Tacoma’s and Tundras may be some of the best trucks ever made.
except the frames mine is getting replaced right now as we speak the are extremely vulnerable to rusted out on the frames
Bhahaha
Yea the frames were not that good
@@westeoutdoors4023 American steel frames lol
This guy fixed his whole truck in flip flops
Florida Man being the only thing he knows how to be, a Man.
Here in Florida, we wear flip flops to weddings and funerals.
yeah thats just Florida lol
Its a florida thing
I do or too? It's not hard
I’m a Jeep diehard, but anything Toyota mixed with ARB components..... that’s just awesomeness
Love this truck. I have a 2002 Gen 1 3.4l with 453K. Still runs PERFECT!
I have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma double cab TRD 4x4 equipped with the off-road package. Everything on my truck is stock and I also have all the additional bells and whistles such the rear differential lock, A-Trac and downhill assist to name a few. It's a 4.0liter engine, V6 that puts out 236hp. It's a VERY POWERFUL TRUCK, I only have 56,000 miles on mine and I LOVE IT! Never get stuck anywhere!!! It's a beast!!! I am planning to keep it as long as I live!!! I highly recommend Tacoma trucks, they are SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!
I like how you actually did the work yourself, and it wasn't a "ok guys well we got it back from the shop"
This vid has nothing to do with boating. Yet I clicked on it so fast. In just excitement that you made a new vid. 👍👍👍👍
Can never go wrong with a Toyota. Mine has 290,000 and still going strong.
I have a 2000 Tundra 4X4 and a 2014 Tundra 4X4. Both have served me well. I have taken them to Carolina Beach, Ocracoke Island, Portsmouth Island and beyond and they have never got me stuck. I love the 2001 you have! Its always caught my eye on your videos. Nice work!
One of the best Channels out there. Keep it up! Can’t wait for the boat videos.
Love these videos, Im so glad he finally acknowledged the Tacoma in the background of each video!
I just picked up a 2001 Tundra from Texas. Clean as a new truck and has 120,00 miles on Drives like brand new. Love it.
Toyota never dies💪
I use to day that! Then my frame rusted out. ;)
Nice change of pace for the channel! Your truck is in great condition, it would be a rust heap up hear in the Northeast!
Thanks,
DC
Geez you have every tool there is...lol. Truck looks awesome. Gandy beach! Ive had a few too many on the beach. Gets pretty crazy on the weekends. At least it used to anyway. Im in SC now. Been a while.. Great video man. Your channels blowin up. Good for you.

Nice truck. Great to see you doing something again. Keep at it!!
Love the editing on your video man. You make everything seem so quick and easy, makes for easy watching lol
Pretty truck man! Toyota makes great stuff
TBG...I wish I were as mechanically inclined as yourself! I have a 2004 Nissan Armada with 234K...absolutely love this truck!!! However, it needs the type of maintenance you accomplished and I don't have the time or the ability to accomplishing the work required. But after watching you, I can't just give her up! Gonna try a little at a time...first the driver-side window and then the dash and radio. Thanks for the encouragement...keep it up with the boat motors as well!
Nice ride brother, she will serve you well!
Hold the phone Eric, where's the boats at?...we need our boat fix!! Regards from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼
Love Tacomas. And your mods are great.
I used to drive by that beach every day to go to work before covid. Love the videos, keep it up.
Just picked up my Tacoma yesterday.
I’m so glad you’re using a tripod now. Hopefully with future boat rebuilds too! 👍🏼

Very similar to our Toyota Hilux in South Africa. Fantastic vehicles. I have the 3litre Turbo Diesel (D4D) Double Cab, with 220k miles. Love that vehicle! Tough as buggery.

The joys of working on a truck with no road salt rust!! #envious
Got friend with a 98 4X4 Toyota Tacoma with the second used motor he had it installed with 180000 miles the first motor let go coming in my driveway with 376000 miles on it rod came through the side of the block and the transmission has never had nothing done to it no filter change nothing at all still shifts great. Unreal I’d say

Tacoma’s live forever. You can say what you want but it is true

Sweet truck man
Sick truck
This thing will literally never break
Does anyone else notice the fish rocket out of the water are 5:55? Such a cool flyby but if you're not looking for it you can easily miss it. I actually didn't see it until the splash was settling. So Cool
Love the Truck ...
These videos always make me homesick. I fished the Gandy Bridge like it was my job. Great video.
always new bridges to be fished my friend
@@skimask5049 there's no place like home.
I am waiting for my 2021 Tacoma to be built. Ordered it in March, just when Covid-19 happened.
We have the exact same truck and tires. I use mines to tow my 22' boat. They work great on the ramp and built to handle the weight of the boat. I recommend these tires.
I love my 02. It just hit 295,000 miles. Still going strong!!!
Awesome Taco.
Nice truck mate
Rare quad cab first gen drool. Our 98 keeps moving. Elocker and 3.4 5 speed. Unfortunately those quad cabs were almost all autos. Good to hear that I'm not the only one whose old man emu suspension squeeks haha
In Australia there called a hilux and is the biggest selling 4x4 dualcab ute here but most are the diesel models very tough and reliable
Nice setup.
🌴 So just wondering how the Yota is doing still got it ? I bought a 2002 with 187000 last February it’s just turned190000 yesterday, l love my truck , I’m a retired boat builder, and just started my new project, it’s a nano flats skiff 11’- ft 1965 Cacci craft 3 seat fiberglass V hull 50” in. beam just tore out the rotted transom yesterday, will replace it , putting a bow casting platform on it and aft deck , just had a 1977 15 horse Johnson redone for it ( wish I knew where you are I’m in St Pete, ) really like the vids 👍🏼 I’ll be watching ya !
That's a lot of trips to the boat ramp!
I'm rolling up on ya.
I have a T100 with 265,000 miles on it (and a Solara with over 280,000 miles).
Very nice toy!
hey i love your video and you need to start posting more video
1st gen Tacoma for the WIN!!!!
Nice truck
Awesome!!!
I taught you only knew about outboard motors and boats. Nice job bro.
They last forever. Toyota is simply the best.
Keep making car videos aswell as boat videos
Sweet whip. My Jeep Rubicon just went over 200K
Sweet truck..
Melbourne Beach Florida 🌴 again. Scotty Kilmer a u tuber I follow swears by the OTOYS!
I live in cocoa beach
I run a 2001 suburban 4x4 5.3L and it has 260,000 miles. Hope it makes it 300,000 it’s all stock and I fish bass tournaments and pull a bass boat everywhere. Lot of room for tackle and can even sleep in the back if I have to. I have heard of a lot of suburbans hitting 500,000 miles
Awsome truck is it gonna b one of your giveaway s 🙃🙏🎄🙄
I love that boat!! Mine has a hole it doesnt float at all
personally i like the 2000 to 2007 chevy trucks we have had 3 or 4 in our family and all have made past 250k and only were scraped due to rust. They go and go and parts are cheap and they are easy to fix
I drove my 1st gen taco til it had 405k finally sold it and bought a 2nd gen taco and I dearly miss the 1st gen
Im surprised someone bought that off of you. I definitely would buy a taco with that amount of miles if it was for a good price, but many people nowadays would have a heart attack if they saw that amount of miles
I sold it to a friend who runs a used car dealership for 1500 and I swear to ya the next day he sold it for 2500 cash and trust me I couldn't believe it either. (95 2.4 auto 2wd)
What do you think about the 4runner? will you ever get one?
Nice!!!
I have a 01 double cab 3.4 with 342k on it, runs like a charm
