What to do if you get into a fight

People often call and tell me they had a fight and went back home, and a week later the police come and inform them there has been an FIR registered against them. It is always a good strategy to call up 100 number yourself to create a record of you being an aggrieved yourself.

That clearly means the one who registered his FIR first is innocent and the other one is criminal. And the indian justice is based on documents.
Sometimes it feels that Indian judiciary is not a justice.
But they have to explore both sides.

Trap them. Record a video of them or perhaps some miniscule of evidence first. Then attack them in the court of law like a monster and let there be comeuppance do the job

What if you don't feel like filing a complaint, as the fight may have been a petty one and both parties cooled down after the fight and dispersed. I mean what should your stance be, to the police - just inform them or try to initiate an action against the other party ?

But what if you don't want to file fir against them and escalate the situation ? Lets say i had fight with my gf and then i call police then what if she files fake cases against me and we all know that law will support her only . will i win the case even tho the laws are anti-men just because i filed for the case first ?
