Her strength is hinted at in several instances. Before this fight, she drinks blood from Alexander Corvinus, the father of the vampires and werewolves, so she gets a power boost. Also, the werewolf has apparently been imprisoned for at least 1000 years, presumably without feeding so he’s not at full strength and completely ignorant of any technological advancements.

Selene and Markus are the only vampires in this scene. Everyone that looks human are mercenaries that were working for another immortal. Their job over time was to keep the vampire-werewolf conflict from becoming common knowledge.
