Umbrella is the most innovative company in its universe, but they aren't the smartest. Maybe they are so full of themselves that they feel they should give the opponent a chance. Regardless of the game or movie, they love having their monsters expose their weakness.
Only Ada can wear an evening dress in the arctic with no jacket, get knocked out and survive.
She has her flaming hotness to keep her warm lol. And the hots that a certain someone in this movie has for her.

One thing that always stuck with me in this particular scene was how silly it looked how those completely intact bullets would just get pushed out of her fingertips; as if there weren't any bones in the way.
I kow right it would have been funnier if she pooped them out though. And more realistic than out the fingers even though its sill no matter what.

Then another scene from the first movie (I think) where the monster was 'eating' a guy but there was zero blood and he was just wiggling around awkwardly with the CGI monster on top. Then how people's teeth instantly look zombified the moment they turn. Guess I shouldn't watch those movies sober. 😅

@@michaelwestmoreland2530 I always found the tomb raider movies, doom, and mortal kombat (annilhation) to be very bad. Don't get me started on angry birds or detective Pikachu. Good movies are hitman, silent hill, mortal kombat (1995) and surprisingly sonic the hedgehog. Ok movies are resident evil, war craft. Anything I'm missing I haven't seen but those are the top of my head imo.
Alice showed no hesitation when it came to trying to kill an old friend. Hell of a fight too. First time seeing the others too from the games
She knows who's the real enemy she didn’t kill jill for any purpose. She knew it was the umbrella who's the real enemy. So she looked for the way to stop it. Maybe they got hurt, but thankfully, it did not end up for slaying

@@bangreadone99 . IIRC there was scene where the bad guy told Alice that her friends were killed or something. There was no confirmation whether those were Jill and Ada though. Pretty sure the director wanted to save it for the sequel (if any, hopefully not )

Can clearly tell Paul Anderson respected Jill's character. He didn't make Alice look dominant in this fight..maybe because of possible backlash he might get, considering in RE5 where Chris and Sheva literally struggled to fight jill and save her on the spot.
Dude was also being faithful to the series' canon events.
I still prefer Paul Anderson's Resident Evil movies a million times more than the god awful garbage remake and that stupid series.

I don't remember that spider thing was that easy to remove. In the game, they literally had to rip it out of her chest and in the movie when they had it on Claire, it was hard to remove as well. In this movie, it felt like that they just paste it with a ducktape. It could make more sense if they allow Alice to shot it first.

That expanding staff bit was the most anti-climatic villain weapon reveal ever filmed. "Ooooooh it's pokey too, now I'm scared" Why didn't they do it like Kung Fu Hustle and reveal the extra length during the close to eye part. Would have show how sneaky she was.

The weapon she's using is a version of the Predator combi-stick. The whole thing is an Alien vs Predator reference, including the two ice picks Alice is carrying.

lol I forgot how goofy these movies got. Why does the robot spider growl? And somebody from the vfx department had to be playing Mortal Kombat when they were making this because that x-ray attack was so out of place and I think this was in production at the same time MK came out and all those Scorpion vs Sub-Zero x-ray adds were everywhere.

this one was made specifically for 3D screens - notice how objects flying when tossed roughly 10 percent off the center towards you? that is a 3D trick to make you more scared but not to blink in scare - very cool technique but unfortunate for those who wear prescription glasses instead of contacts - thus 3D was discontinued mostly for new movies today and probably will go down as ancient technology in the future -

The Resident Evil movies are absolute comedy
First, Jill Valentine is the original here that we are seeing right now, in “Resident evil Apocalypse”. The last time we see her in the end where Christ and Jill and this kid who is the daughter of a Co-worker of umbrella we’re together and helping Alice escape from the facility of the Umbrella Corp. Also the return of Jill is at the ending scene of “Resident Evil: Liferafter”. It would seem, that umbrella manage to caught Jill and put a her mind under their control. And the last time we saw her, is where in “Resident Evil: Retribution” the Leon, Ada, Wesker, Jill, and Alice are standing on the roof top of the White House with the remaining soldier that are fight off or fending off the zombies and some Special mutated zombies. So there’s is no way that this Jill Valentine is a clone.

To be honest, the character are kinda special. Leon was infected with a parasite when he was on a mission to find the presidente daughter and manage to kill it inside him before it fully matured. He was also infect in racoon City But manage to get the cure for himself. Also Ada Wong Manage to survive the fall in the racoon City. She was also infected with a parasite But manage to killed as well. While the dude died instantly, he actually has or have a weak body Since his the only one who is human around here. The rest are actually a super human.
Am i the only one that wanted Jill to defeat Alice?

Она снялась в пятой части даже не смотря на то, что у неё были разногласия с компанией "Sony" из-за гонорара - то есть, она выбрала не высокий гонорар, как обычно делают наиболее популярные актеры, а выбрала своих фанатов и зрителей, которым она полюбилась еще во второй части!
К сожалению, при съёмках шестой части "Обителя зла" её просто не пригласили, сценарий написали таким образом, как будто бы не только Джилл, но и других персонажей убили...
