- Tammy Daybell’s sister, Samantha Gwilliam, continued her testimony on Friday afternoon, describing a tense phone call she had with Chad Daybell just two weeks after they buried her sister, Tammy Daybell. Gwilliam told Daybell that she believed he had quickly replaced her sister by dating Lori Vallow shortly after Tammy’s death.

Tammy was only 39. No autopsy? That coroner failed in his job. When its a young, unattended, unexplained death, then its the coroners responsibility and cost to order an autopsy to explain a sudden death. The coroner screwed this up.
Whenever anyone dies unexpectedly at home here in Canada an autopsy is automatically done.

Heather Daybell did a great interview where she described how Chad, his brothers, and their dad treated Chad's s mom very disrespectfully and they didn't really respect or connect with her. She was just kind of the servant. Heather had to put a hard stop on that behavior in her own husband, but I bet Chad kept that going in his own household. I bet he was the leader of the family, and constantly did things to undermine Tammy and push his authority. He claims he was the Holy ghost, I'm sure he convinced his children to hold him in higher regard than their mother. There is a high level of stubborn closemindedness with people in Mormonism.

It needs to be noted that autopsies in Idaho are not automatic. I live in southeastern Idaho and our coroner said autopsies are done at the Capitol across the state for a cost to the family. So that us correct.

👩💻When my sister passed, at the age of 43, an autopsy was performed and the funeral was 4 days after she passed. This was in Utah. She was allergic to everything all her life and sick most of the time. I remember her as a baby with rash all over her because she was allergic to regular milk and could tolerate Similac. She was taking meds for a kidney infection and at the same time her organs were shutting down. Since she could not metabolize the meds they built up and the doctors called her death an Accidental Overdose. My sister suffered with everything all her life. Nobody's fault.

Why do they refer to it as a viewing? Seems so gross. Where I live it’s called a visitation because family and friends all come together to visit and say their goodbyes. We’re not necessarily viewing a dead body. That sounds gross.
A viewing is just that and happens before, when people and come view the deceased. later there is visitation when people gather and talk. Its 2 different events. Viewings happen with open casket funerals
Well what's gross to you isn't gross for other ppl. Plenty of us come from cultures that prefer to see our loved ones one last time it's not gross. It's our last chance to see our person who we value and miss.
