It was so incredibly fun working on this one! Such a fun commission❤
Such a classic tune that I never expected to get the big band treatment. This arrangement gives sooo much life to the original. What a mood 😌
Immaculately succinct arrangement, eloquent and whispery drum solo. I love samba.
Passing breeze happens whenever you eat tacobell
My mum is 63 and has been a gamer ever since she first visited arcades. So I knew she'd love this one, and she did - she told me it took her right back. :) I would only have been a few years old when the game came out in arcades!
Shoutouts to Adam Neely on B a s s
Gosh, the Outrun music was already first class but the vibes here elevated it even higher! Absolutely impeccable!
Hiroshi Kawaguchi for President! I imagine he’s damn proud of this treatment; I sure am!
So good to see this amazing drummer getting a chance to stretch his legs. Amazing musicianship from every single member.
I love how the drummer looks like he's having sooo much fun. Sounds Great❤
This is a wonderful arrangement!
I went to the Outrun arcade machine regularly. And practiced. and practiced.
うわー!すごい!!
YES! THE 8-BIT BIG BAND DRUMMER JARED SCHONIG GETS TO SOLO! AWESOMEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
I don’t know if I could name a group of musicians who are consistently producing this immaculate level of output EVERY SINGLE SONG. y’all simply are not capable of missing. It blows me away every upload!
The sax solo in the middle of this is class.
How about that brief but absolutely lovely cello solo at
Not only the music, the bottom pixel art animation is amazing!
Doesn't stray far from the original at first blush, the the parade of tweaks, additions, tiny mode changes, and fantastic solo work really combine to change the mood - from a classic summer driving city pop breeze to something that feels like it's really telling a story. It's the little things that add up here. Absolutely splendid.
