There's so much AI-ification of everything because how accessible this technology is. I've been using some form of it for a few years to help with summarizing podcast interviews and copy editing type of work and it's also enabled my non-english primary language speakers to get better at learning the language.
Always love the content you put out. Clean new setup :)

Good point. To be clear, I'm not anti-AI in principle. My concern is that the more people lean on AI to do certain kinds of things, like writing and "thinking", the weaker they become. At the same time, having a machine knock out a transcript from a podcast is brilliant. Thanks, btw, on the set up. I am still dialing in the tech. For instance, I've finally figured out the color correction, which you can see in my vid on Walmart from last week. Cheers!

True! AI will never have a spirit, will never have feelings… This is our advantage.

Agree 100%. The more we can tap into our creativity, the better we’ll be. Sadly, most people are happy to live as consumers as opposed to creators. Thanks for watching!

This is what I feel about AI also - it’s the “next new thing” and people are all about it but in time (hopefully not too much time!) they will come back to humans in most ways. AI is trying to steal the one thing I’m good at - writing and creating! My favorite meme right now is the one that acknowledges that and says when it does my dishes and puts away the laundry it’s on to something! 😂

Yeah, saw that one! Good stuff. It's like we now only do dishes and laundry and the robots get all the good work.

There's a book I want to recommend reading: Irreducible by Federico Faggin.
He argues against AI sentience, and has a fascinating talk on the quantum and classical world and our minds being the interface between the two. Fascinating to listen to him. There's a video called 'Groundbreaking Consciousness Theory by CPU Inventor / Federico Faggin.

    Hi Sir,
    How are you doing?
Do you want an SEO specialist & CZcams thumbnail designer to grow your channel?
    Anyway,
Can we have a meeting to know more clearly ?
    Thanks

    Hi Mike,
When you your talking about the roots of AI I thought back to a film, not one with the deepest intelectuial thoughts but, 'Mr. Incredible'. Yep. Now, in that film there is an evil genius who when he was snubbed by Mr. Incredible decided that he would go off and make himself, and in the process, everyone, incredible. The magic line was "When everyone is incredible, no one is...' Now, isn't that exactly what AI is doing and just indeed what you said. Go figure. I'm a writer and my words are my words, good or bad.

Extra points for bringing in the Incredibles! There's a similar saying in graphic design, especially when designing a piece that needs to communicate information: When everything is important, nothing is important. And, yes, you're right. Remember how smart and creative they told us our "smart phones" would make us? Look at us now.
