Finally, more brand strategy zingers from Mike
IKR. It's good to be back! I got a lot more coming. Thanks for being patient!
I haven’t heard but that is interesting
Wow 🤩 looking great man!
Thanks! Not sure if you mean the video set up or my dashingly good looks, but either way I'm grateful. :)
@@MikeGastin Both!
18,000 customers Mike? Is this an error?
Oh!!! Yes. Meant to say 18 million user base. How did I miss that in the edit??
In some ways this is smart, and in some ways this is a strategy from 5 or 10 years ago.
Interesting-how so? I think I know what you mean but am curious to get your take.
@@MikeGastin I just mean that most companies that are on the bleeding edge are getting into artificial intelligence and large language models as replacements for people etc. Buying a company for its built it subscriber base seems a very 20th century old school business move. Not a bad one, just traditional.
@@bradweinberger6907 I got ya. It's like Ecclesiastes: there's nothing new under the sun. Remember back in the early 90s when because of the internet all the media could talk about was "the new economy"? Well that turned out to just be a massive advertising scheme a la Google.
Wow I did not expect this. I was thinking it would be a manufacturing play.
Yeah! That was my first thought on hearing the news. "Why manufacturing?" But, I quickly realized their play had noting to do with making TVs, really. Thanks for watching and commenting, Prince.
