Not quite. Most of the P-switches are stationary and firmly planted on the ground. Depending on how much theoretical force it actually takes to activate a P-switch, and how the switch itself works, it could technically be.... somewhat possible.
Legolas is getting massive upwards momentum on free falling rocks. If anything I'd compare it to a P-switch jump, like the ones you do while in the air and dropping the P-switch. The switch would have the downward momentum like the rocks.

Yeah, he genuinely is. I might be able to do some, but not as well as him.
It’s interesting that the Muncher didn’t kill you after you dropped the axe because in many Mario games (including Super Mario World and especially after boss battles) you could die this way even after completing the level.
The amount of genius put in these levels is amazing. Congratulations to the creator.
I've been P-king at this video, while enjoying a P-nutbutter sandwich.

I'm glad Mario was able to rescue Princess P-ch at the end of it all.

This is what good level design looks like. No off-screen thwomps or janky jump mechanics that get in the way. Just pushes the physics of the game and relies on the player's reaction time. There were a couple of blind jumps that are tough but other than that, very fun level design.
Off-screen thwomps will never not be funny.
