I recently bought this tv. The picture needs to be adjusted out of the box. For example, star trek on paramount looks atrocious on the hdr 10+ format in the default settings untill the gamma is adjusted to 2.0 as a baseline for further tweaks. It's been a learning curve. So my suggestion is if hdr looks too dark, try reducing the gamma
It is currently $1999 at Best Buy. You can't beat this price for 98 inch tv.
Just purchased this TV this weekend. It’s unbelievable for the price. It replaces a 7 year old LG tv which was very reliable. But the picture on this TV is way better. I have another 3 year old LG LED and the picture on the TCL is way better than that as well. I was on the fence and wasn’t sure about this TV, but just very happy I made the right decision. Sports and movies are awesome.
I really would like it if you would show us a example of how sports look on the tv. I would love to see how good the motion rate is on this tv!
Wouldn't be able to mount to my wall but what stand would you recommend?
Are you not getting a ton of Judder on this TV. I havent been able to adjust it out
Awesome video. But I can't find a wall bracket for the TV. The one you list would be ideal but Amazon no longer stock it. The TCl TV has a weird Vesa size 850 x 400 and I need a Full Motion Articulating TV Wall Mount - which I cannot find anywhere :(
I used to have it turned off and on with my google voice command I was messing with some setting & don’t know why it’s not working anymore….

@@jasonmceeable some movie scenes I did see some blooming, nothing that I was bother by. This tv gets bright. I was getting at least 4000 nits peak brightness, think it's rated for 5000 nits. I did see a little motion blur on hockey games, but gaming I was truly impressed with the 144 refresh rate. You won't be disappointed with this tv. Plus I think price has come down again below 3000 dollars

Super nice vidéo. Just a Big question what about the REFLECTION of this TV because I saw another video of this TV standing near a windows and had a lot of reflections even you could see the back if the living room😥😥 please give me your feedback thanks 😘
Honestly it's not anymore reflective than other TV's

Dude it's a 98", You are probably one of those people who expect an 8K 98" Oled TV for $1,000 dollars.
@@teslacybertruck750 98 inch tv without OLED is not better than a 75 inch OLED tv to me. You must have never owned a OLED TV before I was just pointing out that the picture is a lot better with that technology
@@teslacybertruck750 77" LG C3 EVO OLED for $2500 or a 98 inch non OLED Panel for $3000 that's an easy choice for me. Once you go OLED you never go back.
@@shawnward4105bigger is more immersive plus black levels on modern lcds pretty good and they are a ton brighter than oled
@@shawnward4105it's all about the purpose. 98" is amazing and gives such an immersion and "wow" effect because of it's sheer size. Colors, blacks etc. Might not be as good as with oleds but you are paying ~25k for 98" oled. I have an 65" oled in my living room and 98" led tv in home theater and still enjoy the 98" more. Also the streamed content bottlenecks the image anyways. Youll most of the time get the ugly grays even with the oled because the content won't fully support the blacks. I'm also used to projectors for this size and any tv blows projector screens 100 - 0 easy on every aspect. (if you dont have over 6k projector and 3k alr screen but even that might not be enough).
