I go hard on Dragon Age 2 here, but it's just an ok game. It's not bad.
But imagine me when I had finished Origins 3 times and was waiting for the next game in the series and what I got was Dragon Age 2.
I'd buy a remastered Dragon Age: Origins in a heartbeat!!!!! 😆😍😄😅🤓

I love Dragon Age Origin and to this day I replay it screw the shitty animations it's a game that I bought to pass a couple hours yet it entranced me and I spent days playing it I would love the remaster and even if it's just graphics I wouldn't mind as they may very well turn it into something it's not.
When i was a kid i hated mission in fade. But now i really enjoy both fade and cirle tower, the atmosphere in there is very good. I personally think Bressilian forest is quite small, at least they could add one more north-east-south Bressilian.

I've never played the console version of the game. How are the controls?
For xbox i found it slightly rough. Having to use my left trigger to use my secondary attacks seemed wierd. Especially as a melee type where a split second decision could mean life of death.

No we need a remake so the hero of fereldan can be brought into modern games and add more origins and make the battle system closer tot he newer games. Also this will make us get shale back and shale is fucking awesome. Shes the grunt of dragon age. Redo the voice acting for everyone with the same actors and the warden give them a voice as well. Also let daveth live.
I would only ask for upgraded graphics, and maybe more hairstyles and other character creation options. Don't try to "update" the look of the characters to newer DA games, keep the old looks. Giving the Warden a voice might massively over-complicate a remaster attempt, it isn't needed.
Sadly we're more likely to get a Dark-spawn corrupted "Live Service" garbage pushed out with minimal effort, no respect for the source material, and like an Abomination, possessed up the wazoo with mictransactions and lootboxes.

I love DAO... I used to play it sooo much, but Im just not into it anymore due to the shit graphics and animations. I just wish inquisition was more like the other 2. I hate the story, no classic darkspawn (Dont quote me on that, I didnt play more than 5 hours of it. Cuz I got bored pretty quickly, and they removed scars, which was a big part of my character's appearance.
I haven't really played any Dragon Age, but Origins sounds pretty good even though it kinda looks like one of those MMOs that are made to run on potatoes.
They should scrap the character creation. Just use Daylen Amell. Do multiple playable protagonist. Meaning you don't have to take the Warden on every mission. Playing as Sten to track down his sword would be great. Merging the skills, except for mages. A mage templar.
Also intelligent A.I. party members, but still set up for orders, along with multiplayer, and online playable characters.

I mean DAO is so great 300 hrs on steam that is dont need no remaster. With mods it looks good a with DAO ending you can ignore DA2 and bad DAI as fan fiction

Origins doesn’t require a remaster. It is good as it is and it works fine on modern systems. Bioware should focus on the Dragon Age 4.

I guess it's a question of personal taste. I would rather have Origins remastered than DA4. Unless they return to form and make a real RPG with a robust combat system. Also if EA could chill with the DLC that would be great. Unfortunately Battlefront 2 has shown that they will not.

I did like Inquisition but not as much as Origins. Origins is my favourite DA game and this is why I don't want to see it remastered. Now that some of the key developers of Origins have left Bioware, I doubt that the current Bioware team could do Origins justice.
Although Inquisition had superior graphics, in my opinion Origins had a better world design. In Origins, the atmosphere is very dark and gritty, compare this to Inquisition where everything looks clean, and the lands look picturesque and the spells are flashy and colourful. 'Fable Anniversary' is a good example of what could go wrong - where they improved graphics but messed up the atmosphere.
Some of of the reasons why Origins was so good is because it was a primarily a PC game and because Bioware wasn't owned by EA at the start of the development. The target audience for DAO remastered would be console gamers - people whose only RPG experiences are games like Skyrim and Fallout 4 rather than RPGs like Dagerfall, Baldur's Gate, Gothic or Fallout 2. You can expect the remaster to be streamlined (in a bad way) with inferior controls, inferior UI, limited party AI customisation, fewer RPG elements and with some shit that EA would add to appeal to the shareholders and the 'wider audience'.
