I just had to share this, it was very special to see this live. While this may be an amateur video from Red Rocks sitting out doors in the freezing cold, the music was par excellence!

My wife and I have been to Jackson Browne 3 times. ALWAYS AMAZING AND FRESH.
I was there with my daughter Alex. First one for her. Thank you for this. ❤
Jackson Browne is such a class act! Saw him many times and never disappointed! True American rock and roll classic right there!!! Young people go see these bands before they hang it up for good! You won’t regret it!!
Going to see him soon in April (in Australia). It's a tick off the bucket list!
Ah, remember when we used to go to concerts? Have a good time, dance and sign along to these rock 'n roll legends? When people got together without fear of germs? Let's hope we can be free again. Jackson Browne is a wonderful performer. Love this song, da best!

The opening piano notes is iconic. My freshman year 1978, first time away from home, so young and so free it was the best time of my life.

My first 2 albums I got for my 12th b-day was Running on Empty and Night moves. Still live all tracks from them both.

Was there, 15 rows from stage. What a performance, thaks for a nice video and good sound, close to just what I remember, such a great time Jackson is just incredible, Red Rocks may be best place in USA to see a concert....

I have seen Jackson perform three or four times. Twice here at Red Rocks. Lives in the Balance played on a loop as I drove from Seattle back home to Denver. If I was pressed for a favorite artist, I would say he and James Taylor have provided the soundtrack of my life. Love this.❤

Loved his music and so excited to see him in concert RPI in 70’s, where the entire performance was with his back to the audience. Puzzled, I looked it up years later to find his beautiful wife had just committed suicide. So very sad, esp when he engages the emotions of his listeners more than anyone. I hope he found joy since.
we used to sit around and practice this.. or parts thereof.. in a friend's living room.. Franny had a voice for the refrain.. oh won't you stay 🎶 that always sent shivers down my spine... it's a haunting song 🎵... thank you Mr Browne 🙏

saw him in 2022 with James Taylor and he did not do this song . Was a great show but was disappointed to miss the load out stay.

I sure wish David Lindley was still in Jackson's ensemble. He just added so much with his slide and fiddle playing. But this is still a great performance without him.
