Didn't even finish the video yet but I'm buying this. One of our Christmas traditions is the 25 books of Christmas. Every year I wrap our Christmas books and place them in a big basket and we start our day by unwrapping one and snuggling on the couch with cocoa and reading. I never thought to create a lesson based off this idea but love it!

This is amazing! I am so happy my sister told me about gather round. You are doing such a wonderful thing for families! This will be my 3rd year of homeschooling and all I've ever wanted was something like this, but not like other Unit Studies. I can not wait to use this!
Thanks for this video. I had been wanting to try out one of the units but just haven't really felt the right timing for it. I saw some comments about the Christmas unit on the Facebook page and was curious but not totally 100% sure yet. I just purchased this as my first unit and if everything goes well then I will be pre ordering the full year for next year. Thanks again.

I love it. I only have one child homeschooler as the other two are too young still (3yrs & 6mos) I feel like my 3yr old could follow alone fine though

I’ve absolutely love everything about this !. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. You even thought about the best binding for both right and left handed children! (My children are lefties)

Seriously, no. This is not really schooly, other than maybe converting recipes or learning about fractions, ha! It IS a devotional. Baking, christmas songs, crafts, they will love it!

So how does the baking work? Is each level directed to bake? 5 kids making cookies 5 individual times is lots of cookies. Especially if the older kids are doubling and tripling. Or is the conversion part just an exercise but you bake once together?
the conversion is an exercise, then they are told, if they want, as a family bake the recipe together. So totally optional, but a prompt to bake once a week as a fam leading up to Christmas.

Not at all. The book list is optional but a really nice add-on.

No, I don’t think so.
But this is false teaching.. Christmas is a pagan holiday. You can easily research the TRUE meaning behind all of the symbols and the “reason for the season”. It has nothing to do with Jesus Christ. Satan has tricked people into worshipping him. If you think about it.. the majority of the WORLD celebrates Christmas whether they believe in Jesus or not. That right there should be a major red flag to a TRUE believer. I urge you to research the truth.. not just the disguised meanings.
