Wow guys the reception to this video has been absolutely mind-blowing. I hastily put it together because I wanted to express my love for them before the finale this week so I was worried it wasn't up to par. Thank you so much for all your kind words. Now, let's go save Grogu!!!
You did a great job of capturing the evolution of their relationship, and Din Djarin’s evolution as a person. A tearjerker for sure! 😭
Yessssssss
I’m here
Grogu is jere
I’m on moth Gideon s ship
Din didn't want to take his helmet off when he was going to die in season 1, but he takes his helmet off for Grogu.
Losing the kid is worse than dying
Damn! Good point!
he was also brainwashed about helmet things by bo katan.
@@mustaquimahmedtanbeer2437 I would say that she gave him the ability to think outside of his creed. To think on his own for a change
@@qiuqiuY ikr
@@mustaquimahmedtanbeer2437 not BY bo katan, if any thing by the children of the watch, she opened his thinking about it, which is the reason he accepted Boba Fett as a Mandalorian.
The same speech, but Moff calls Grogu "it" and Din calls him "he" 🥺
When Mando says “you have no idea what “HE”means to me” you could hear and “see” the emotion from Mando. 💝
Now this is the best father figure in Star Wars history. *This is the Way.*
To be fair, that's not exctly saying much. But yeah, I agree.
This is the way
This is the way
0:45 Am I the only one that thinks this line implies a lot more? Grogu not only saved Mando's life, he also saved his lonely heart, made him a better persona and gave him another porpuse in life
He was saved physically (Mudhorn) and metaphorically (his loneliness and sense of purpose)
Gideon's speech is one of somebody inhuman studying Grogu like an experiment so he can claim ownership.
Din's speech is that of a loving anguished father willing to move the entire universe to get his baby back.
One of the greatest switches in Star Wars. Sold to us as a series about a hard-bitten gunslinger who cares about only his next bounty, but swiftly turned into a sentimental story about parenthood, and the entire fanbase was right behind it 100%.
Well played.
- But yeah, there's also gunslinging bounty-hunting badassery.
The scars these two have in their pasts draws them closer. Two orphans a father and son.
Well said 👍👍👍
@@skits_3d824 ...and Luke...another foundling, another orphan who found his way with those who took him in! Loss, sorrow, loneliness are common elements in the lives of Luke, Din and Grogu!
@@victorpradha9946 Agreed hopefully the three will share their bonds in protecting each other Grogu will get stronger Den will be wiser and Luke will be a better teacher than the sequel Luke
Actually the serie is an adventure. A whole adventure, and Mando a hero like old school ones, Zorro. The balance with elements is perfect!!
in a franchise full of fathers who are distant with their kids, be like Din Djarin, aka the best dad in the galaxy
😭😭 sweet comment. ❤
Just give Pedro Pascal the Emmy for Best Actor next awards season. This show has everything you could ask for. Action, drama but at the heart of it the evolving relationship between Mando and The Child. I can't wait to see how far this can go. This is how Star Wars should be done.
This is the way.
This is the way
This is the Way!
Agreed. I love this series. Din and Grogu care deeply for each other. They belong together.
0:22 the way he gently pats Grogu's back after putting him down melts my heart. It's those little gestures that get to me.
I never noticed that - thanks for pointing it out
Sheesh the contrast between Din's and Gideon's speeches...one is a cold man who wants nothing more to use a child to his own ends and the other is a father who desperately wants his son back.
The Mandalorian: Come for the action, stay for the parent-child dynamic.
It's not just a star wars spin off , it's actually a beautiful story of two lost souls meeting.
"If you put one mark on him, there's no place you'll be able to hide from me." 😭 "He means more to me than you will ever know." 😭
I’m not crying, you are. OKAY I’M CRYING. GROGU, YOUR DAD IS GOING TO GET YOU❤️
YES 100000000% agreed😭
THAT LAST EP OF SEASON 2 THO OMG 😭
@@tapiocamango I DON'T ACCEPT THIS ENDING I SIMPLY DON'T
I cried too 😢 Mando will get him back.
@@anotherpapasheev7546 I'm coping, but yeah... I just realized while watching again that grogu still has the necklace and Din has the "ball".... 🥺😞😭
Aw my god, I teared up a little ;_;
This season is so emotional. By creed, Din must wear the armor AND protect the foundling. But right now, he's in a situation where both concepts clash with each other.
If he removes his helmet, he loses the right (according to his creed) to call himself a Mandalorian, to have a clan. But Grogu is his foundling, they are a clan of two. Without his kid, he has no clan.
You can see the despair in his eyes when he removes his helmet. Like Mayfeld said, your rules start to change when you get desperate...
It's sad that Mayfield died in that refinery explosion so nobody saw his face. Reeeaaal sad
Yes exactly. But I think his willingness to do whatever it takes to save Grogu made him even more worthy of the Mandolorian title. In the end he had to choose between two parts of his creed that clashed. Protect his clan and the foundling at all costs and never show your face. For someone like him it was not much of a choice. He dealt with the vulnerability and the threat of the imperials and his own potential guilt to have a chance at saving his baby. And for that he forever earns my deepest respect.
@@madelinegarber7860 Very true. Especially considering he met Bo-Katan and Boba, who both remove their helmet, yet can still be considered Mandalorian. He's probably starting to wonder whether or not he'd be able to live with himself if he abandonned his child to honor a creed that may not be the most important part of being a Mandalorian.
True. Oh almost definitely. I think it’s pretty apparent he’s having second thoughts. It doesn’t mean Grogu won’t get trained, they just might go about it a different way.
I do think Boba Fett showed him that there were other ways.
I get very emotional when I watch Mando interacting with Grogu . It tugs at the heart you know. They share this deep father and son relationship that I have not seen in cinematic film. It’s astounding!!
It really IS!!!
Yes, yes, yes, and absolutely YES
"...You have to agree to go with them, if they want you to." This sealed the deal for me when Din said this. He really doesn't want to let the little one go. You can hear it in his voice.
FINALLY IVE BEEN GOING THROUGH THE WHOLE OF CZcams JUST TRYING TO FIND A VIDEO LIKE THIS! THANK YOU
66 likes 😂
Yes!!!! Exactly
Yet this got suggested to me without a bother or care. That was beautiful. What a good montage and a great show!
This was amazing! It made me want to cry! You showcased Din and Grogu's relationship connection perfectly with the editing and music!
Thank you!! 💕💕
Oh my God I cried too!
Perfectly stated, exactly what I felt!
Few channels can effectively edit a video that accurately displays an emotion. This is one of those channels.
I'm glad to be apart of the community.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it and am so glad you’re here! ❤️❤️❤️
Excellent editing!
Epic name: The Mandalorian and The Child
Real name: Din and Grogu
Such an adorable pairing
It's amazing...a hero, who's basically a walking, talking set of armor for 99% of the show and a baby alien...and yet we're all so deeply and genuinely touched by their relationship, people were literally crying, when they had to part ways.
This is so beautiful. I love you ending it with Pedro closing his eyes. It comes across as if he was fighting back tears.
videos like these restore my faith in humanity
This made me tear up a but because this episode where Grogu was taken was very emotional... I cant wait to get him back
Same I can't wait
And then you watch the finale and you almost wish you could go back, give me the child back is still my priority 😭😭
Din Djarin is already a better father than a lot of dads in the real world.
Especially my dad
This is absolutely STUNNING! This season their father-son relationships has grown so much and became even more incredibly close to heart, touching and strong, and you've shown this precisely and beautifully! Their attachment, their connection, Din's choosing Grogu over anything in his life, parallel between his and Gideon's speeches, accent on this ball, of course, the music you chose, all of this is truly amazing!
😭 can't wait to get our baby back
For... REAL. Din WILL get Grogu back
I want bright eyes 👀 back too
Well, in Episode 8, (SPOILERS AHEAD BUT IM SURE YOUVE WATCHED IT NOW)
@@cabardoproductionsoc9864 yes I did but l still have hope that goodbye was more of a I'll see you later
@@skits_3d824 If he stayed with Luke wouldn't that mean he gets murdered by Kylo Ren in a few years? I pray he'll be back honestly, I've never been more invested in a parent child relationship.
He’s a better father than Anakin and it’s not even his son
In Anakin’s defense, I think he would have been a great dad if not for everything stacked against him. I mean, when he found Luke, he wanted to overthrow the emperor and rule with him. I think the worse father would be Palpy.
I give Anakin the benefit of the doubt. His mind had been fucked with stupendously before realising he even had a son, he was so far into the dark side his mind was like minced meat.
Yes, but I think this ist very difficult...I mean Anakin was not SOOO nice to Luke, you know...
well...no.
Din deserves the title dad
And anakin only gets the title father
@@pumpkinbagelpatch
That’s true
Why im crying.. Their bond is very beautiful❤️❤️❤️
I'm here bawling too!
Same this was beautiful
This is touchy to me. I’ve never liked Star War, but this Mandalorian has got me hooked!
Just came from the finale.this hits different.
same 😭😭😭
Same here 😔
He means more to me, then the way of mandalore
This video would make any child realise how much enormous love a parent has for them. ❤️
"He's stubborn."
"Not him. You."
I love what you did here. Very clever! Shows a lot about Din coming to terms that he should stay with Grogu. Din can be the stubborn one but we've seen how far he can go for his boy! Your edit highlights that. Well done!
He means more to me than you will ever know. What a profession of unconditional love. I wish somebody felt that way about me. That's why this episode means so much to a lot of fans, star war fans or otherwise.
Just stopped crying about the finale... got recommended this video... now crying again 😭
The man's devotion to giving his life in order to keep young yoda safe is very touching. 💜
The armorer's voice is.. sexy lol
R.I.P Razor Crest
RIP 😔
My heart is broken. I'm sitting here crying after watching this. Sigh. Here's believing they will be back together soon.💕
I love Din and Grogu they're so sweet I hope they do meet again.
THIS IS THE WAY.
This is the way.
*We Stan a dad who will do anything for his bby*
I always get weak when I see the scene from the last ep of the first season when Grogu puts his hands on Din's leg and looks up at him like "dada?" 😩
That was amazing. You captured how much this father loves his son perfectly.
He deserves a mug labeled ‘galaxy’s best dad’
I tend to forget that Grogu is not an actual living being, he seems so real💔
THIS LEGIT MAKES ME CRY 😭 THEIR BOND IS BEAUTIFUL. I didn't know the amount of feels I was signing up for when I started watching The Mandalorian 😭
I know!!! :'(
Just wow. Editing skills as storytelling 1000%. You nailed the entire 2 series of The Mandalorian in one supercut and outdid most of the last three Star Wars films in the process. Talk about knowing your subject matter and being able to communicate that to your audience. You must be one hell of a film maker. Total respect.
Grogu is his creed now.
aww
seeing Grogu lying there with handcuffs on his tiny hands legit breaks my heart. T_T
Mine too 😥😥
2 years later and this still makes me cry lol
This had me in tears... again.
Despite the epic action set-pieces of Season 2's finale, this is what floored me.
Not dozens of Dark Troopers being cut down by a green blade.
Not Mando going head-to-head with Moff Gideon.
Not Bob Fett's sweet as Hell mid-credits teaser.
But a child wishing to see the face of the one who has protected them all this time for one time... and the protector not even giving it a second thought.
“he means more to me than you will ever know...” thanks, man.
Oh please save Grogu 😪😪😪 hasn't 2020 been sad enough
Wys
All your emotional Mandalorian edits are beautiful and immensely touching works of art, thank you so much for making them!
This is some top tier editing! I'm happy that I came across this, it made me emotional over The Child and Din all over again.
Oh god watching this after the new episodes made me sob
Din became so emotionally connected to Grogu because he saw another orphan child in need of a Mandalorian to save him. :(
Grogu has chosen his path(mando)this is the way.
Can't express how much I love this brought tears to my eyes! 😭😍
I am just here crying after the season finale. Please get them back together. I am in pain 😭
I love the father son relationship between then which shows that you don't have to be blood related to be family.😊
I’m not crying ,your crying 😭
This is a freaking masterpiece, I’m ugly-crying in front of my screen right now. Absolutely fantastic!
Omfg this actually made my heart hurt.😭💔
I really didn’t want him to to separate so sad I really hope they join again next season
Oh my, watching this was like taking a bullet to the gut. Beautifully done. I love it,
This is on a whole new level of emotion, perfect editing and music. This shows just how much he truly would do anything for Grogu. I'd love to see ep 16 added into the mix. 💕
Grogu don't worry your papa mando is gonna get you💚💚💚
Wonderful video! I love watching the progression of their father/son relationship and you really captured how much they mean to each other. Can't wait for him to get the kid back and see a big daddy hug for Baby Yoda then!
“He means more to me than you will ever know”
-Din Djarin
You’ve done this video beautifully, I never thought I would love a father and son relationship this much but I just love them. Don’t worry Grogu your father is coming for you
Yoooooooo! This one hit me in the feels. Damn!
"Were going to find the place you belong, and they’re going to take real good care of you. But you have to agree to go with them if they want you to." -Mando
One of the many sayings that has made me so happy and sad but love Mando; Din Djarin and Grogu’s father-son relationship all the more.
He’s willing to let Grogu go only if he wants to, but I think we can all assume that Grogu will not want to leave him even if a Jedi finds and agrees to train him.
I loved how Ahsoka refused to train Grogu because she knew he’s like a father to him and they belong together.
@@knowledgegathererdraftsave1979 Agreed
He already has found that place
😢
Mando: ''HE MEANS MORE TO ME THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW'' ''AND SOON HE WILL BE BACK WITH ME'' T_T
dont worry Grogu Mando's coming
This is so amazing and perfect. You captured the bond between them and Dyn’s love for Grogu so well. It hit me right in the feels the first time he said he means more to me, than you will ever know.
That was beautiful-loved how you showed the symmetry of the story in 3 minutes.
Oh my heart... 💔 This video is outstanding! I rate it four tissues (out of four). Thank you-liked, shared and saved. 😢🤧🤧🤧🤧
Thanks!! 😊❤️
Love it! Every Mando fan needs to see this before the end of season 2!
This is what true star wars is about, parents doing what they can for their children: Qui Gon doing his best for Anakin, Anakin in the end saving his son, and now Din Djarin doing everything to save Grogu... his child!
This hurts ten times more after the last episode 😭
I love this I can't stream the show only see it in bits on here love your edit .It's like watching a whole episode and you can feel the love between Mando and Grogu thanks it's beautifully done
I just only wanna cry. Yes. Ever thought what would i see, one more time, the essence of Star Wars. Thanks a lot Mr. Filoni and Mr. Favreau.
When they said goodbye I have never cried so much since Dobby and Ned Stark's death.
This almost made me cry because it was so beautiful😭
I literally got goosebumps from this, omg its so good!!

This video just made me love the show even more. So good! Thanks for making this even more emotionally impactful!
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR SO LING ITS SO GOOD I LOVE IT!!!
BEAUTIFUL
Whey-hey I can't wait for the showdown - Great video!
Grogu is not going to leave Din and Din misses Grogu 😢 i bet as soon as he picks up Grogu again he gives him that lil silver ball.. the cutest thing I've seen Grugo do is alot of things besides the way he looks at Din when he calls his name.. but when he snuggled up to Din to go to sleep 💤 and get warm was adorable and that lil plate Grogu had tickled me.. awwwww
If every father was like mondo, they world would be a better place
Amazing. I actually cried!!!!
This is truly magnificent....
Just beautiful...😭❤️
Wow, you're talented. The way you made this vid. It's amazing.
