Santiago also known as Santiago de Chile, is the capital and largest city of Chile as well as one of the largest cities in the Americas. It is the center of Chile's most densely populated region, the Santiago Metropolitan Region, whose total population is 8 million, of which more than 6 million live in the city's continuous urban area. The city is entirely in the country's central valley. Most of the city lies between 500-650 m (1,640-2,133 ft) above mean sea level.
Providencia is a commune of Chile located in Santiago. It belongs to the Northeastern zone of Santiago de Chile. Providencia is home to a large upper middle to upper-class population and it holds the region's highest percentage of population over 60 (22%). It contains many high-rise apartment buildings as well as a significant portion of Santiago's commerce. It is notable for its large, old and elegant houses inhabited in the past by the Santiago elite and now mostly used as offices.
During the walk you can see the Gran Torre Santiago 300 metres (980 ft) high, the tallest building in Latin America and the second tallest in the Southern Hemisphere after Australia's Q1 on the Gold Coast at 322 metres (1,056 ft) tall. Of the two other buildings in the complex, one will be 170 metres (560 ft) high and the other only four stories.

You have to go to the right suburb, Proviidencia, Las Condes, Vitacura ( the same places of this video where people with good income live) Barnechea . Unfortunately The rest could be in different degree insecure and unmaintained.

Finalmente recorriste el barrio Pedro de Valdivia Norte, ubicado entre el Parque Metropolitano y el Rìo Mapocho, que fuè un lugar para gente adinerada entre los alos 40 y 70 del siglo pasado.Continúa siendo bello,tranquilo. a pesar de las autopistas que lo rodean y del túnel San Cristóbal que lleva hasta Huechuraba.

Tienes razón, a pesar de estar rodeado de autopistas, dentro del barrio se siente muy tranquilo, supongo que esto es en gran medida por estar al lado del Parque Met. Es uno de mis barrios favoritos de Santiago. Gracias por ver el video!

My gosh never been to Chile or even Santiago, but now I regret it a lot! It’s great to see through your lens because I’m afraid it’s not gonna be for a long time I make my way over there. What a lovely place that is though! I love the vegetation, beautiful trees and I love it’s a blend with the city scape as it should be! Also seems to be extremely clean! Is it true overall?

I stayed at a home at Ave Los Leones con Andres Bello, just two block from the Costanera Shopping Mall. Light years from the reality of the suburbs. I mean, any overseas viewer should understand that the area shown does not represent Chile. Those areas are considered upper class and les than 5% of the population live like that
Of course, you are right. Sometimes it seems two different countries in one, and I would like to show both realities (so many places to show), but i started recently with this and to be honest I don't feel safe shooting in all the places, "Estación Central" for example, which is an important place or "Paseo Ahumada", "Maipú", "Lo Prado", etc. Right now I have just one camera so if I get robbed that would be the end of the channel.
