I live in Niantic Conn. You can see it across the Sound.. We have Mansions here also.. The point is if you can pay the taxes on these places you are welcome to them.. Someone said they look empty.. Its because they are and no one wants them and they can't sell them. Life is too short to sit in these places and try to keep up with your neighbors..I walk the beaches and see the same ocean they do.. Better them than me.. They are Passé now but someone will try to own one, that is until the next Hurricane...

@@TheMarried123 no they didn’t dune road is the barrier island in west Hampton / quogue/ Hampton bays . Very wealthy but not quite as wealthy as here . This is meadow lane in south Hampton .

What a.waste of money...all these mansions look depressing ...the beach is empty..it's a ghost town..and not to mention this area will be underwater soon ...if I had money like this id build my mansion in Tennessee in the mountains...or somewhere near the Appalachian mountain chain..the views are better..the air is cleaner..ok so there is no ocean but Ive been to long island and it's basically sewage with a little bit of beach sand..I never understood why the Hamptons are so popular..but then again I'm middle class so until I have the money they have I guess I'll just keep dreaming lol..and besides most of these homes aren't even occupied they are only occupied couple months out the year..and they live in their beach homes in Florida California etc..
