Sad thing is starro doesnt have a eyelid so it was almost impossible to prevent that

He is innocent,"i was happy,floating staring at the stars" state he was very chilling until taken to earth.
They got his movements all wrong. Starro doesn’t walk like a person. It uses all its limbs in a cartwheel like movement. I’m surprised they didn’t know about that.
Well that kind of movement did appear in the movie but he never does it again so I think they hated it
It makes the movie better though.
They knew it simply wouldnt work as well.

I don’t get how a Speer can penetrate Starros eye but a bullet can’t, like a bullet can penetrate metal armour and a Speer unless at high speed.
Because the bullets weren’t coming from the main character 😂
Didn't they say earlier that that spear was like special/could cut through everything?

I person that I know was annoyed by the fact that it was defeat so easily and with a plot hole, because any high caliber weapon would have destroyed his eye.
His suggestion was that everyone try everything and fail, and when they are all going to die, Superman appear for 1 second kill starro and fly away immediately after that. (As cameo apparition, so you don't even clearly see him)

I can’t believe that scene where the soldiers were shooting not a single one of them shot at its eyes like a obvious weak point unless that pole was special I guess but yeah it’s pretty sad for starro probably should’ve been more discreet with it’s takeovers and tried to make a ship or find someone to take it back to its home planet got too greedy becoming a conqueror
