With many years of driving experience, when I come to a 4 way stop, I brake late and intentionally so it takes away the guess work. If that doesn’t work, a kind wave to go first usually does.
Wait but doesn’t it depend on the way you are looking at it? Because who is on the right can change if you just turn the paper ? Idk I’m kind of stupid
yeah i think im stupid but im still confused about when all 4 cars are there in real life scenarios i still dont know how to differentiate who go's first
There is no “car on the right” when 4 cars stop, so there’s no way to really tell who has the right of way. Either let the most anxious guy go like he said, or communicate to the other drivers and let one go before you. If 2 cars go at the same time and crash, I honestly have no idea who would be at fault. Probably would depend on the specific situation and what the other witnesses say.
Safest thing to do is either wait until somebody goes or signal a driver to go. Most of the time somebody will choose to go. I never been in a situation where everyone hesitated
Whoever gets there first, goes first. If you get there at the same time & both ppl are inching forward but also hesitating, just make sure you have a blinker on if you’re using it & use a hand wave or a honk to let them know if you’re letting them go first.
Thank you and also let’s say you have the right of way (you pulled up first) but the type of driver to let others go first can I yield to that driver to go ahead first or not??
I have been watching dozens of these videos trying to answer this question. What if two cars get there at the same time and are in opposing lanes but one is turning left. I think the vehicle turning left needs to yield, but want to know for sure.
What if there are several cars behind a car that made it before than you to the intersection, do you let only him pass, or do you wait for the rest? And also, I read that if you make a left turn, you need to yield the right of way, but what if you made it first, do you yield or keep driving?
If your talking about the rules like cars going straight have right of way of those turning, right turners have right of way to those doing left turns.
But at the end when the first car of four goes, It should have been the green car goes first because it's to the right of the car that just went, Then the orange car, then the orange and purple car. ?
To the right of the green car is the orange car. To the right of the orange car is the black car. Everyone has a car to the right of them in that scenario so nobody actually has the right to go first
Please please what happened if it's your turn and the person on your left turns right and now it's my turn and I go am I in the wrong if the person that was behind the car that was taking a right goes straight? I was almost in a crash due to this and my parent was not watching but blamed me and said I did not have the right of way. ( This car had a broken headlight and I couldn't tell if they were turning I saw one light ) but I inched forward as well and this car still went straight and was 2 inches away from hitting me
Thanks dude 😅 I’m about to be 18 and I’m stressing a lot I have severe anxiety so I’m really struggling and this helps me a lot
i know its a year later but same, this is the reason why i failed my last driver test and i just want to get better at this.
same here im still learning how to drive
Same i have a permit test and I’ve been studying like crazy, and this really cleared things up
Update: I just passed🎉🎉🎉

i will always just let the right go first, too many risks
I am an Indian watching this. We all go in the same time and reach home safely 😅
I love that you used the right names corvette and gtr
A better explanation is whoever doesn't have a car on it right side
When the 4 cars stopped at the same time, didnt the black car have the green car on its right?
Glad you mentioned blinkers. It seems like no one’s using them these days.
Wait but doesn’t it depend on the way you are looking at it? Because who is on the right can change if you just turn the paper ? Idk I’m kind of stupid
There needs to be more of these! Thank you!

@@user-bi2me1kj7p ok thanks i over complicate it too much
@@eznemo2346 Same here, exactly why im watching this video🤣 Ive been driving for 2 years but barley doing the test this week
I love this video, just what I wanted to know, I thought you had more driving videos, 😏thanks though 👍
What happens if two cars are in the lanes across from each other? Who goes then?
Whoever gets there first, goes first. If you get there at the same time & both ppl are inching forward but also hesitating, just make sure you have a blinker on if you’re using it & use a hand wave or a honk to let them know if you’re letting them go first.
When two vehicles show up at the same time but from opposite sides of each other who goes first ?
I was always told left the left go first interesting
Hell no brother be careful that is WRONG
for the 0:29 scenario, would it make more sense to let the brown car go first if they’re turning right and the orange car wanted to turn left?
If you’re turning right, you have the right of way opposed to someone turning left.
Thank you man
Great
Thanks man
So the car to your right side always go first in other words. You explained this better than so called professionals. And with a simple drawing.
it gets confusing when people are trying to turn at the 4 way stops, could you explain that?
all i need is to be aggressive
Thank you and also let’s say you have the right of way (you pulled up first) but the type of driver to let others go first can I yield to that driver to go ahead first or not??

what makes no sense is that if everyone were to follow this rule, it wouldnt work. everyone has a left and a right dingus
❤❤❤
Nice! I'm guessing this is America not Canada? You sound kind of texan...
Sometimes the simplest solution is hard to see 😂
What about turns? Does the same rule apply?
If your talking about the rules like cars going straight have right of way of those turning, right turners have right of way to those doing left turns.
what if someone is making a right
With 3 cars, why are there 3 phases? Left car can go at the same time as the right car, no? Only two roads, no need to take 3 turns.
2 cars front to front with left turns?
But at the end when the first car of four goes, It should have been the green car goes first because it's to the right of the car that just went, Then the orange car, then the orange and purple car. ?

Don't all vehicles are to the right their own pov?
Solved by roundabouts in Europe.
WHY IS THAT CORVET THE. SAME AS MY DADS DID YOU SHRINK IT?
Just make roundabouts
wdym right? both cars are on the right its just about perspective
I'm always first ...end of story...🤣
First, second, third
First (# 514)
None of are technically correct, it's who is first in all situations
But the scenario is they all arrive at the same time so everyone is first so who goes first
How wrong is this rule. It may increase the chance of an accident. There would be only 2 signs (in one way)
Nah bro, the GT-R is the most aggressive looking
