Part 2: Building another budget closet organizer for $120 in plywood to complete a walk in closet

While the kids are home for the coronavirus shutdown, we finished the other half of a walk in closet. We show how to make a simple circular saw guide for cutting the large panels for the organizer. We also got a lot of use out of the Kreg shelf pin jig for this project. Almost all of this project was completed with inexpensive Ryobi 18 volt cordless tools we had in the shop. This type of project could easily be completed by anyone comfortable with measuring and using basic hand tools.

Have a question tho.....why not choose melamine as there are way cheaper and no painting required.?

You can certainly use melamine. I don’t because of weight. This project was heavy enough. I find it more brittle. Screws don’t hold quite as well. Plywood is more forgiving when rotating and moving a large project. You also have to buy veneer and heat it on your end grain to conceal your cuts. All within the capabilities of the average person, just not the direction we were going. Whatever you choose to use, I am sure it will be a fantastic project.
