Hey guys! I'm seeing a lot of comments regarding 2 videos I should check out..'BTS Hardships' & 'The Most Beautiful Life Goes On'. Are these 2 videos similar at all?
IF SO, which one should I check out?
IF NOT, which one should I check out FIRST?

    • @ZariDV
      @ZariDV Před 3 měsíci +6

Those two videos aren't the same so you will get new info and a very different perspective with each of them. BTS Hardships has a more solemn tone to the vidoe as it covers some of the their struggles that they went through from 2013-2021 (the tip of the iceberg and nowhere close to everything but enough to get a general idea).
The Most Beautiful Life Goes On has a lighter and sometimes joking tone to the video as it covers BTS on a rags to riches sort of perspective. It goes more into the different eras of music, album by album along with the career-making songs that chart their personal growth all while showing how they went from the so-called "nobody/nugu" group to unprecedented success story.
Since you're already on the happy side of their story, it might be better to go with The Most Beautiful Moment one first then do the Hardships after. The negative stugg are the bits that people tend to leave out of guides because it can change the tone drastically but it's necessary to also note that their jouney has had a lot of darkness too and that also shaped a lot of their music and mindset while making music.
Important thing to note, there are multiple versions of The Most Beautiful Life Goes On. You want to watch the most recent one from 1 year ago. The one that says it's the 2023 update (that's a typo though and it only goes up to 2022). The new version has all of the info from the old one plus the other years of things so the new one is the better choice.

This one is a proper intro to the members, The Most Beautiful Life... is mainly about their achievements and evolution as a group and artists, Hardships is self-explanatory, I think. Watch them in that order.

BTS stands for bangtan sonyeondan aka bulletproof boy scouts in English. They haven’t changed their name, they extended the name to also mean beyond the scene later but it’s always stood for bulletproof Boy Scouts. As for suga: his real name is min yoongi, his stage name that he uses within BTS and when he producers for other people is Suga and the name he uses for his solo work is agust D. All of the names coexist.

Min, Yoon-gi (Birth Name) - SUGA (Stage Name with BTS) - Agust D (alter EGO solo project stage name)
Mathers, Marshall (Birth Name) - EMINEM (Stage Name)- Slim Shady (Alter EGO)
Kim, Namjoon (Birth Name) - RM (Stage Name with BTS) - Rap Monster (Stage name for solo work that he outgrew)
BTS = *B* ang *T* an *S* onyeondan = Korean for Bulletproof Boy Scouts.

30:10 JK was actually 13 when he joined BH and started living in the dorms as a trainee in 2011. He was 15 when they debuted in 2013. Korean age is usually 1 or 2 years older than international age (You are considered 1 at the moment of birth and your age changes at NYE not on the actual day or your birth...so take V for instance. His birthday is 12/30 so Jan 1 he was already 2 years old in Korean age even though he was technically only 2 days old).

Hello! ! Silver Army here, 66 yr old from Singapore. BTS is my all time favourite group. I am into rock, metal and classical music. There is no one, nothing that can come close to BTS, they are my joy. I absolutely adore their immense talent! Welcome to the journey to discovering how amazing they are. BTS is short for Bangtan Sonyeon Dan which in Korean roughly means Bulletproof boyscouts. They did not change their name and are still known as Bangtan/ BTS. It is a name globally recognised because they are the best and most accomplished group on the planet. They sing in Korean, Japanese and English. They have a discography of more than 300 songs, in many genres. All their work are masterpieces and every single song is good, no bad ones.

Exactly. Before they were famous they didn't know their names. So Jin was identified that way. Jin is really special. He Never sang or danced before BTS. His voice teacher discovered that voice inside him to his surprise!

So much for you to learn. In South Korea you are 1 year old when you are born. So JK was really 14 when he joined. Interestingly, all passports have a person's correct age listed despite cultural age differences like South Korea. Yes. JK really painted that pic. His dad and brother are artists too. When JK joined he didn't know he would become the lead singer. He didn't know he had a good voice. Again, his voice teacher helped him. He has perfect pitch.

Jimin too didn’t have much time to train as he was the last to join and it’s interesting you noticed Jimin’s eyes since many love his eyes too! 31:24 It was MAMA 2018. The end of 2017 and at least the 1st half of 2018 was the hardest for them. They had won their 1st BBMA in 2017 and were feeling overwhelmed in terms of expectations and demand and were also feeling exhausted and burnout...they spent the 1st part of the year wondering if they were going to disband, so when they won JHope was feeling really emotional and Jin talked about them almost disbanding unexpectedly which made V cry like that. Their album Love Yourself Tear was created during this time, so a lot of the songs written about the darker side of love came from their experience with each other almost breaking up - Fake Love, Seesaw, Outro Tear.

5:20 Bts still stands for BangTan Sonyeondan, it also stands for Beyond The Scene but no one uses this one 😅
6:20 Yes, they started with Run BTS because no one invited them on shows, BigHit was really small back then.
6:57 yes and there was many more viewers. One person could buy a ticket but they could watched it with anyone. I wouldn't be surprised if that concert watched at least 3 milion people.
9:57 yes but Suga, JK and J-Hope understand majority of what's being said and they can speak a little too.
11:15 he has since released full album called INDIGO. It's a masterpiece.
11:32 Its over 200 now but I don't remember exact number.
    12:36 basically. He's a true leader.
12:46 Suga in BTS and collaborations, Agust D as a solo artist.
14:40 since this video was made he released album named D-Day (absolutely amazing album), it's closing the 3 part series - Agust D, D2 and D-Day. He also said that was the last time(probably) when we see Agust D.
17:50 Yoongi is a cat. That's how I look at him lol. He's calm but he has his crackhead moments😅He's very real and straightforward but can be really sweet also.
20:00 on Wevers. He's doing lives when he freestyle and hanging out with us. He was street dancer first and this will never change. He's one of the best dancers I've seen.
20:57 as the other members he released his album Jack In The Box and it's a banger with amazing lyrics.
21:52 happy virus you may say and someone you can't be mad at according to members💜
24:44 Jin is the only one who didn't released an album but it's probably because he didn't have time before his enlistment to the military. We think he will release an album when he get back.
    25:45 exactly
27:34 yes, they have behind the scene of every MV
28:08 he did that for people who are eating alone to fell less lonely. If I'm wrong ARMY please correct me.
29:09 he saw RM when he performed underground or when he was trainee, I'm not sure. Again, ARMY help me with this 😅
30:09 he was 13-14 when he moved to Seul and became a trainee, 15 when they debuted.
31:15 2018 was really hard for them. Jin said that they were talking about disbanding in the speech you see here. They've been through a lot.
32:17 He released solo album GOLDEN and it's absolute hit! And it's in full English.
34:03 his first tattoo was ARMY tattoo on his hand. He loves us and he's showing it constantly 💜 And yes, he cry easily lol
35:00 his lives are everything. He did everything in them including cooking, doing dishes, sleeping and folding laundry lol
35:37 yes, video showing members in order they join Big Hit. Jin is the oldest then it's Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and JK
    36:07 that's a good question lol
36:36 destiny, I can't see it as anything else. It was destined for them to be BTS
37:25 only in Hwarang but I'm not loosing hope. I need him in a drama. As a bad guy or someone like Jang Ki-Yong in Kill It 😅
38:55 I don't know why Taylor didn't include it in the video but Taehyung came up with this on the spot on this concert.
39:22 idk if you know Boyz II Men (that's their song playing now) but one of them did cover of Jimin's song Serendipity in Korean on his live. He went to the BTS concert with his son and after this he said that this was one of the best concerts he saw in his life.
42:00 yes😂😂I love how people react to Jimin first time they hear him😂
42:33 like others he released an album FACE it's another masterpiece but well, it's BTS🤷‍♀
44:05 he did when he performed with J-Hope Boy Meet Evil/Lie on an award show. I don't remember which one, ARMY help me with this🙏
    45:13 yep, that's him
46:24 I'm really proud of Jimin and Jin. The didn't know sh*t about singing and now they are amazing at it.
47:54 there is a video by XCeleste. BTS Hardships. There is a brief summary of what they've been through czcams.com/video/EdY6wnLsetQ/video.html
48:33 this is the first official ARMY song "2!3!"
50:56 ARMYs are great singers :D IU and Suga even talk about it on Suga's show Suchwita lol
52:13 there is a fan documentary on YT called Rise of Bangtan. Each episode is about 30 minutes and there is 21 episodes. It showes their journey from pre debut. There are also bonus and deleted scenes in it. It would be awesome if you could react to an episode and songs from that era. For example episode 1 is about pre debut and you can react to their soundcloud songs. I'm not saying you should do album reactions (but that would be awesome lol) but maybe title track + a bside from each album. You do you and we'll help you with everything along the way💜

Well said. I have nothing really to add to that.💜
The performance, with J-Hope, of Boy Meets Evil/Lie where Jimin dances blindfolded was from the 2016 MAMAs. And it's a performance I love.💜
In fact my top 4 favourite Award Show performances, in order of year, are 2014 MAMAs - the "Battle with Block B - it's amazing, but Jimin and RM really stole the show; 2016 MAMAs - from the opening with Jungkook, to Jimin and J-Hope's side-by-side, to the performance of Blood Sweat and Tears - just wow; 2018 MMAs - it's insanely good; 2019 MMAs - I once saw someone say that it was nice of BTS to allow the MMAs to hold an award show during their concert (and it came pretty close to that) - a true visual spectacular.💜
Also, to answer your question Dan, I am a 55 year old Woman from New Zealand, who found BTS in 2020.
And I love that, even when they are undergoing their mandatory military service, they are still being found by new people, and making new fans.💜

29:09 When he received the call from Bighit to consider being a trainee in the company, he mentioned it to his dad. His dad knows Bang Sihyuk as a very good songwriter and producer so he advised that JK should look more into the company. JK went online to research about BangPD and Bighit and found the videos showing RM and the other trainees already in the company that time doing their own raps or making remixes/covers. That's when he decided to go to BH because he thought RM was so cool.

BangTan Sonyeondon, abbreviated is BTS. The Korean words in English mean Bulletproof Boyscouts. They have been a group for over 10 years, so somewhere in the middle, they said BTS also stood for Beyond the Scene, and changed their logo from a bulletproof vest to open doors. However, the members often still refer to themselves as Bangtan (Bulletproof). Love your reactions! "You nice; keep going!" (A quote from Jimin.)

51:50 BTS is still BTS. BTS stands for BangTan Sonyeondan. There is also an alternative meaning that is "beyond the scene" but I think everyone still considers BTS to equal Bangtan Sonyeondan.
In terms of a VERY deep dive that might take a while, I'd say the fanmade youtube documentary is a good choice: The Rise of Bangtan. It goes up to 21 chapters and each chapter has bonus scenes and deleted scenes. It's very well made. You'll get spoiled with songs though because BTS songs are sprinkled throughout the series, as well as their album making and mv making processes.
In terms of music, a quick list of some title tracks in order would be "No More Dream", "We Are Bulletproof pt2", "N.O", "Just One Day", "Danger", "War of Hormone", "I NEED U", "DOPE", "RUN", "Young Forever", "FIRE", "Save ME", "Blood Sweat & Tears", "Spring Day", "Not Today", "DNA", "MIC Drop", "FAKE LOVE", "IDOL", "Boy With Luv", "Make It Right", "ON", "Black Swan", "Dynamite", "Life Goes On", "Butter", "Permission to Dance", and "Yet to Come". That being said, a ton of my top favorite BTS songs are not on this list hahahaha. But I guess start with these and then you'll discover all the rest as you go. BTS has over 300 songs at this point so enjoy that journey.
I also made this list elsewhere in the comments but the most recent solo work for the other members would be:
    RM: Indigo album
Jin: The Astronaut single (we're hoping he comes out with an album or something else when he's back from the military in 4 months XD)
    Suga: D-Day album
J-Hope: Jack in the Box album (plus a single called "On the Street")
    Jimin: Face album
V: Layover album (which you already reacted to)
    Jungkook: Golden album

leader isnt boss per se, it doesnt work like the frontman style bands in the west. so its just more responsibility for being the liaison and the spokesperson for the group. they kinda have a horizontal style leadership format amongst them so the members trust him immensely to be their rep and try to chip in and shoulder what they can to help too.

Hi! I haven’t seen your other reactions so I started to watch this one. Many already answered many things and gave suggestions to watch BTS Hardships or Rice Squad updated version. This shows each member’s joining and all they have done since 2021 but doesn’t mention all the hardships they went through and still go through to be where they are now. I recommend that too since it sounds like you found BTS through IU and V, then an English song Butter. BTS is much deeper and that’s why they have grown organically. Not 1 leads. RM used to go by the name Rap Monster but has change RM to mean Real Me. Suga is actually my bias though I do call myself OT7 (One true seven - love all of them). I’m not quite silver ARMY (Senior citizen) but close. I hope to see more reactions from you and glad that you took the time to read. BTS is an abbreviation of Bangtan Sonyeondan which means bulletproof boyscouts. I think it’s very appropriate because they are such nice, talented, capable young men and together they are indestructible, especially with Army right behind them. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Yes it's still their name BTS is an acronym for Bangtan Sonyeondan (Bulletproof boyscouts) From protecting youth in their earlier work, and growth. ARMY will be able to give you a deeper delve; but I'm still learning myself. My takeaway of the guys since their debut is that they work hard, they set goals and achieved them, they became relatable as they too go through hardships just like everyone else. Enjoy the rest of your journey with these amazing young men. They have been my daily smile for the past 3 years.

Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people counted age differently to others...
Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust.
The members were only 13-18 years old when they joined BTS and 15-20 yo when they debuted.
In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. ....
Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became member of BTS)
    Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo)
    Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11
    JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8
RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13
    Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo)
    V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo)
    JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo
Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age.
The Korean Government has recently (June28) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age.
    💜Have a great day

"Mic Drop" is fun. Then a completely different genre to watch. The MV, "Black Swan". You have more than 10 years of content to watch. You could pick videos in chronological order. But i didnt. I didnt know anything. I found them on February 24, 2020. They performed "On" at Grand Central Station in New York City. I was watching the Tonight show and Jimmy Fallon intriduced them. There is no official video to watch because it was on NBC. But a fan videotaped it on her TV. Find that on CZcams. That was my introduction to them. Being from Musical Theatre I Knew what it took to pull off that Stunningly Exquisite performance. I got on CZcams to research who they were. I have watched BTS content every day since then! Enjoy your Deep Dive Journey! BTS are the initials of Bangtan Sonyeondan. I dont remember what year they started going by their nickname. But I was confused too.

Most iTunes #1s means Number 1 in the most countries. Every country has their own chart. 100 iTunes #1s means #1 in 100 countries, etc
Namjoon/RM still holds the 2nd most song copyrights in S Korean history. His current count is 216.
About 95% of BTS music, the members have written and produced. They have in house producers at their label who help with things, but the members have always guided their art themselves. They tell their own stories and put their hearts into their art. This is exceedingly rare to unheard of in KPop. All members have written, composed and produced.
Yes, RM is the backbone of BTS. The group was formed literally around him. He is also a lyrical genius, the rapper poet.
Jin is the mood maker big brother with the heart of gold who brings breathy and emotional vocals or power belting.
Suga is the producer genius and a rock of emotional support (or just a rock, depending on his mood 🤭.)
j-hope is the heart and the emotional glue as well as the performance genius who guides them in practice and on stage.
Jimin is grace and flirtatious charisma along with powerfully emotional performances plus soft yet powerful vocals.
V brings seduction and romance alluringly packaged in innocence and groundedness, an smooth or growly deep vocals.
Jungkook is the powerhouse little brother with the clear as a bell voice who is good at literally everything and considers himself a combination of all their traits.
So, the story of V's audition - It's a little misleading as told, though completely true. Big Hit scouts arranged an audition at his Hagwon (after school music school) for older students. Taehyung, a younger student and a popular one with lots of friends, went along to the auditions with some of the other younger students to watch, both to support friends and to learn about the process for themselves for later potential auditions. Turned out that was the only one he would ever need to go to. The scouts got one look at his cartoonishly good looks and said "We want to see that kid audition." That's why his saxophone was nearby for him to grab, because he was at his music school. It was still a crazy happenstance, that he just happened to be there at that moment. Any later audition he went to likely would have been for a different label entirely. The BTS guys firmly believe it was fate that brought them together, that they were meant to be a family.
I think others answered this, but just for goo measure, here it is again:
Yoongi's stage names are Suga & Agust D, both. He is Suga when he is with BTS or doing work as a producer for other artists or collabing with artists as Suga of BTS, such as on Eight with IU or on That That with PSY or on Lilith with Halsey. In his solo albums, his stage name is Agust D. Not to be too confusing, but he also has collabs on his solo albums with other artists where he is Agust D. Agust D is a persona through which he was working though a lot of dark and personal things. He has hinted that his solo world tour last year (the biggest and highest grossing for a rapper in global history) might be the retiring of the persona Agust D, so it may end up being rare that an artist got to collaborate with Agust D. He has three solo albums: Agust D, D-2 and D-Day.
RM also has three: RM, Mono and Indigo. j-hope has two: Hope World and Jack in the Box. The maknae line each have one album: Jimin - Face, V - Layover, Jungkook - Golden. Jin has not yet released a solo album, just a single album for The Astronaut. He also has some other singles like Abyss, Tonight, Yours and solo songs on BTS albums, but he didn't have time for a solo album as he was the first who had to leave for enlistment, as the eldest. We expect he will release something later this year, as he is due back first from military service, in June.
Bangtan Sonyeaondan is Bulletproof Boyscouts and that is what BTS stands for. Their name has never changed. They also later extended (not changed but added on) the meaning of Beyond the Scene, when they changed their logo from the bulletproof vest of their early years to a pair of opening doors. Both the phrase Beyond the Scene and the opening doors symbolizing moving forward with courage and continuing to grow.

BangTan Sonyeondan (방탄소년단) is their full Korean name and what they usually present themselves as in Korean and gets presented as in Korea at award shows etc. BTS is short for it and used internationally. If you look at MV's they always and still have the full name in Korean too in parentheses "BTS (방탄소년단)".
Bangtan (방탄) means bulletproof and you often see that referenced in songs etc.
We also often call BTS "Bangtan" or the "Tannies".
But you'll notice we have lots of nicknames for them both as a group and separate and also different emojis used for each member instead of writing their names also sometimes colors based on the color of their personalised mic's that they had for a long time (now they have multiple custom mic's in different colors but we still use the colors of the original personalised ones).
🐨= RM, mic color turquoise/light blue
    🐹= Jin, mic color pink
    🐱= SUGA, mic color black
    🐿= j-hope, mic color red
🐥= Jimin, mic color gold (yellow used as color on text etc)

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Glad u checked this out. I hope u rewatch on ur own time. In the SOOP is vacation in Korea. Somewhere private. Bon Voyage is a trip to another country. Boy with Luv ft. Halsey was my intro song performance on an award show live in 2019. My ult bias is Jimin, Suga wrecker, OT7. Taylor summed things up very well. She used info from various guides by others and changed a few things. They have i think 800 awards now and growing. RM is the only one fluent in Eng. Though he is rusty these days not enough interaction. JK been studying more. Jimin been studying too and Jhope. All the younger bands and solo artists use BTS as inspiration to find fans. Especially small label groups. Seventeen a 13 member group has mental health songs too which i find very cool. The awards are in a BTS Museum in Korea. I liked hearing ur thoughts. =0] Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army #ThankYouTaylor

As of this year, they have won over 900+ awards which includes solely and as a group on top side projects that have done past 10 years that continue break records and make history.
3:46 They became the first Kpop male group to perform and speak twice at the UN Assembly.
5:44 BTS started as undiscovered talent in their hometowns but many tend to get confused when seeing this specific scene which is from their episode 8 finale of mini-series #BTSAmericanHustleLife that was filmed in los Angeles (2014). It was part a mission of learning how to ‘self-promote’ by standing on the sidewalk trying to randomly invite people to their mini concert as well as learned from a few western artists under supervision of coolio and warren g throughout the episodes before they performed at the end of the show where they did “no more dream” and “we are bulletproof pt2” along with an ending encore to show what they’ve learned during the final episode. (THOSE WERENT ALL RANDOM PEOPLE 😂 IT WAS A STAGED SCENE BUT MANY OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS KNEW BTS WAS AND THEY WERE THERE WAITING FOR THE MINI SHOWCASE TO START).

Since this video in May 2022, a LOT has happened.
First, in June they released an anthology album "Proof" and then announced that they would pause making music as a group and focus on solo work. This is partly because they have to do their mandatory military service for 18-21 months.
J-hope was the first to officially debut as a solo artist, releasing the album "Jack in the Box" in July and headlined in Lollapalooza later that month. The album tells a compelling story from beginning to end, with singles "More and "Arson".
They held a free concert in Busan in October, livestreamed also for free all over the world.
Jin released a single "The Astronaut" in October, co-written by Coldplay and performed the song at a Coldplay stadium concert in Argentina. The two bands are very close friends. He joined the military shortly after.
RM released his album "Indigo" in December. A masterful journey through the genres, with singles "Wildflower" and "Still Life" ft. Anderson Paak.
Jimin released "Face" in March, telling about his emotional journey during the pandemic., with singles "Set Me Free Pt. 2" and "Like Crazy".
J-hope released the single "On the Street" ft. J. Cole, and joined the military shortly after.
Then Suga/Agust D released "D-Day" in April, an exploration on the theme of liberation, and then embarked on his world tour.
We are anticipating albums from V and JK later this year, and likely from Jin after his service.
Please note that before these official debuts, all members have released solo work, with all rappers releasing mixtapes and all singers releasing singles. But these past works were not officially released, meaning they were not available on Korean music platforms and not all were available on Spotify or iTunes. Most were gifts for fans, released on Soundcloud and with little to no promotion.
They plan to reconvene as a group in 2025 after they all completed their military service.
    jungkooks dreamers.

I think of their story and how these 7 kids from all different places in South Korean came together and just worked and worked with no rewards, releasing their first album after years of training and selling 34 copies on it's first day. 2 days less of 8 years later they would release their anthology album Proof and sell 2.15 million copies on the first day... I feel so much pride to see how far they've come. I can't wait to see their synergy and bond in 2025, I'm sure it'll be stronger than ever.

6:20 Hundreds of groups debut in K-pop every year but extremely few make it more than 100 days and those are usually from the Big 3 K-pop companies. Boracity Magazine has made a great video on the music industry's (eastern and western's) attempts to find "the next BTS" which covers a lot of the points you bring up. She also has some a amazing videos on BTS vs different entities in the music industry, like BTS vs Radio and BTS vs Spotify etc. They give you a great insight into the dynamics of the industry as a whole.
Taylor really did an amazing job on this intro. She even posted a draft, took on input from us and changed a lot accordingly however she mainly focused on the positive story of BTS but there's a darker side to their success as well. Rosan @xCeleste's video BTS Hardships 2013-2021 shows a very important part of their story and it goes a long way to explaining their uniquely close relationship with ARMY. I highly recommend it.
ARMY is actually an acronym for Adorable Representatives MC for Youth - doesn't sound quite as daunting now, does it? 😂 We really are all ages from 1 to 99, genders, faiths, nationalities, etc. We always try to portray the positive values of the group members themselves - love, respect and inclusivity - and although inevitably there are a few rotten apples in a fandom this big (approximately 15 million official fan club members and many millions more unofficial fans), if you receive any hateful comments they're most likely from antis/haters who try to discredit the fandom and BTS to deter reactions to their content. I'm just letting you know because unfortunately it's a common problem for BTS reactors and for us as well.
    A few helpful tips:
    - You might want to turn the volume up on the video you're reacting to. 😉
    - If you want subtitles on their older songs you need to get them from the CZcams channel 1theK. It's just as safe and legit to react to. It wasn't until later they started their current channels and they didn't bother putting subtitles on the oldest stuff.
    - Since Taylor's video Vlive has been incorporated into Weverse, a platform developed by Big Hit but used by many artists and companies now. Fan club membership is not a requirement and that's where they go live now, post comments and respond directly to ARMY's posts if you're extremely lucky. 😅
Have fun discovering the magic of BTS, feel free to ask us anything and enjoy the journey however short or long it may be. 😄

I really really liked your reaction. Hoping for more content. You could start with BTS Room live 2021. It gives a slight impression of their musical diversity. Borahae 💜

Yes BTS means their original Korean name which translates to bulletproof Boy Scouts but in 2018 roughly they expanded the meaning of BTS to include beyond the scene for English speaking army fans.
Army is an acronym ARMY= adorable representative MC's for youth.
