I liked Van Helsing. Lack of music just made it more creepy when you faced more enemies. The upgrades were great, voice acting and smimilarity to the movie worked well. Only fault in my opinion was the length and camera angles.
Concrete Jungle is the best I still play it, and Predator 2 did not suck if your a predator fan

I guess you forgot there is a feature in the game to lock onto a target so all your melee attacks will focus on that 1 target.. making melee combat super easy. agree. if played devil may cry and that side by side, most would prefer van helsing. it is newer and pretty much a reskin of that game gameplay wise but even so. that doesnt make it a bad game i think it is a lot of fun

How did vanhelsing get the number one spot? Compared to every other game on the list its not that bad? I played it a long time ago and it was fun. Even the graphics were good for its time.

I don't know why people hated Predator 2 I thought it was such an awesome movie personally I like it more than the first Predator thats an awesome too but I liked the 2nd movie because it's in the city and a lot more people to hunt and the Predator in the 2nd movie had new weapons like the spear, disc etc

Crow's the only one that lacks legit horror elements. The others are packed with horror elements even if they emphasize much more on the action .

If anything, Friday the 13th on NES is a good example of a horror game at the time. A near-invincible antagonist, not a whole lot of survival items (unless you grind for medicine), and creepy music when you enter a cabin make it a heart-pounding experience.
2:02 why does everyone say Predator 2 sucked? IF they put it in the Jungle again people would be complaining it was just a clone of the first movie.

It only matters is how to play the game. Plus it's a PS2 generations so of course it's crappy quality in the old days. Just wish they make another Predator game but choices either 3rd person or 1st.
Okay first off Most of these games ill agree are beyond terrible ( stairs down aliens) But almost half the list are games based on movies that are not even in the horror genre. Their number one pick is based off an Action-Adventure Fantasy movie with a PG-13 rating I've seen comedies with worse ratings do some actual research into your picks watchmojo.....shame

Robert Savageau he means that because the predator's name: Scarface they could have mixed it up with the scarface movie because he did fight and kill Mexican-American mob bosses. Side note that's not what Concrete Jungle's storyline is about at all.

I'm surprised Evil Dead was on here, man I still play Fistful of Boomsticks till this day its just that fun! You get all kinds of weapons and different kinds of enemies as you progress throughout the game and you even have spells you can use which are awesome especially the rain of fire spell. I also want to add, its amazing that you can aim backwards!

they could make a saw game by making ur own puzzle challenge, then have friends solve ur maze. players will have choice that can kill or weaken their character. u as its Jigsaw can watch them solve ur puzzle or watch them betray each other to survive

Am I the only one that gets the vibe that the mainstream is just trying to ruin The Crow franchise, like James O'Barr created it and they want to destroy it? That's probably what Acclaim and Gray Matter set out to do with the game based on The Crow: City of Angels.
Now, I'm not gonna say it's the worst game ever made, but if you're going to use The Crow license, why not at least take the time to develop a decent game? When it comes to gameplay, presentation, and just about every other aspect of that game, it just seemed completely uninspired.
The Crow: City of Angels was released in the year 1997, so there were a lot of beat-em-ups out there, such as Guardian Heroes, Die Hard Arcade, Battle Circuit, Nightmare Creatures, and Fighting Force.
Basically, there should've been a lot of inspiration and possible directions to go with this game. However, Acclaim and Gray Matter decided to go against the grain and just make something not worth playing.
The other Evil Dead game was awesome. Kicking an undead midget sidekick around is good stuff.
Van Helsing has a GBA version as well, and it was...actually kinda fun, despite only having played it for 20 mins.

I remember when I played Van Helsing I thought it was fun. It came across as a devil may cry clone. This was back when I was in high school and the game just came out. I had rented it. It's been so long I'm not sure i would enjoy the game now.
Jaws was awesomeeeee....it was basically GTA with a Shark as your character...and the map was huge

I actually thoroughly enjoyed the Nightmare on Elm Street game when I was growing up. For an NES game, it wasn't really that bad. Maybe it wasn't a fantastic Nightmare on Elm Street game, but as a game itself, it wasn't so bad.
ngl, a horror movie and a horror game are practically the same thing if you think about it, there's characters you follow and a set story to follow as well, I'm sure with the right developer you could definitely make a good horror game based on a movie. It'd probably be even better since you're in control

The Freddie game was actually pretty fun, and if you're trying to beat the whole game it's actually quite challenging.
