4:15 are you sure that's a death scene
Hmm.....Death by Doggy style? 7w7
69 360 helicopter style
I'm pretty sure 4:15 counts as monster porn.
Kiljaz Ink
Kiljaz Ink the number of likes insures this.
Kiljaz Ink Yep.
You made my day!
I beat my meat to that part.
Actually, Night Trap wasn't intended on being a horror game, just a parody of one.
Well better than Resident Evil Operation Raccoon city
#10 was scarier than hell itself
Austin 555555 no
It's scarier then hel
Austin 555555 I agree
Heh
really... I mean... were you scared for this game? It doesn't belong to this list... I'll give you that much... but come on... how old are you?
2012: Amy, one of the worst escort based horror games ever is released. 2013: The Last of Us, one of the best escort based horror games ever is released.
AJA Ryan1994 Exactly!
Salty xbot.
Hiding from clickers in the dark. Nuff said.
tlou is pretty shitty
Frei Train Lol, nah. There's nothing scary about that game at all. The whole zombie thing is getting really tired and old.
You guys did not explain AT ALL why Alone in the Dark (2008) is the worst horror game of all time.
My thoughts exactly
i liked it alot when it cam out. it was one of the first games form last gen that showed what the hardware could do. lots of cool set pieces, and detailed character models. the game has alot of flaws, but they can be overlooked.
Amiri Copeland So the game is just as fucking horrible as the film? Why am I not surprise.
@RckerMom87 be glad you've not played Alone In the Dark Illumination. Which fucks itself so hard that it ruins both the alone part by having co-op and the dark part by focusing on setting things on fire.
Amiri Copeland: I think their mindset was "the footage speaks for itself".
Ju-On should not be on this list, it's OK
i agree what a fucking joke
DeAndre West When people watch it on CZcams, they don't think it's scary UNLESS they physically play the game themselves 😔
I give the game credit for building suspense in an interactive way long before PT tried to but they really should've used the Monster Design from the Japanese original and not the girl from the American version. Okay game.
DeAndre West subscribe my channel for all kind of simulator gameplay with review of that games
DeAndre West AGREE!!
I know the horror game with the best graphics:
School
why do i get the feeling that they never even played these games.
Because they didn't.
AmericaTheEngravy sauce they don't have to have played them to put them on this list. All of their lists are voted on by fans, so if you want input on future lists you should do the same.
*****
that;'s fucking stupid. then it's a popularity contest, and not a thought out well researched list.
***** Nope, watchmojo makes you think its voted on by fans.
Mike Hunt
so are they just another channel that steals list from elsewhere on the internet?
Take a shot everytime Watchmojo posts shit during this year...You drunk yet?
Jacob Morales I'm dead
Alcohol poisoning
Jacob Morales hospitalized
Jacob Morales I've taken more shots then days in the year
+BreadVactor / William I've taken more shots than police at black people.
seriously, did you ever have at least one good thing to say about "resident evil 6"?
resident evil 6 sucks u idiot
@@ethanconlin6856 no, it most certainly doesn't, you idiot
why do you think its one of the PS3s greatest hits?
@@2zporygon Its ok but in terms of Resident Evil 4 was the strongest and just left 5 and 6 in the shadows after that game. When not comparing to 4 its an ok game minus the Chris campaign in my opinion really turned the game into a call of duty style shooter with that campaign but other campaigns like Leon or Jake was a lot stronger slightly more horror elements. I think the biggest complaint for most Resident Evil fans for the game 6 was how it lost its horror feeling and pushed a little too much towards action. Hopefully the village gets it right and balances it but Resident Evil 6 was not a strong point in the history of the company but there headed back up these days. Also forgot about the Ada campaign ill try just forget that one wasn't a big fan of that campaign, felt like 4 separate games and I liked half of them. Also Resident Evil 6 wasn't really on the list just showed a image of it he never talked about resident evil 6 only Resident Evil Survivor.
You got to be kidding me
You're joking 3:16
The worst one is Five nights at freddies GET TRIGGERED KIDS
Z3n0XG4m1ng *Freddy's
What?
Z3n0XG4m1ng You spelled Freddy's wrong
Just saying
Oh sorry XD
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde video game should have at least got an dishonorable mention lol
blaqpirate Absolutely. lol
+Clean Kill
I loved playing this game so much due to my huge addiction to 80s slasher movies lol.
Hell, the script was better than Slumber Party Massacre 3 lol.
That's not horror
Okay, as a writer I KNOW you NEVER end a horror story with 'it was all a dream'.
Realistically you'd never end any story with that trope. The whole idea of nightmare sequences is when you're never sure whether they're real or not it lends to an unsettling nature which can make things a little creepy. What is it you've written Caitlin?
Adam The Gamer Mostly freelance work, some academic but mostly creative. I've also done a bit of screen writing, all under a pseudonym though. I am work on a novel that I hope to publish under my real name however.
Caitlin Brewer Well, technically as an apology, Shakespeare did that very thing in Midsummer Nights dream so....
I also write (fiction) and I completely agree, it's one of the first things you learn not to do
@@eventsotherthingswithchris9019 Shakespeare made the majority of modern-day story-telling tropes, he gets a pass.
*insert generic FNAF hate comment here*
Dimenzio *insert generic fnaf isn't shit comment here*
there we go, we got the comment section covered!
Yep
*insert good comment on why hating on FNAF got retarded and old*
*insert thougth throught comment on why you still like the game*
XD
*insert comment about fnaf in general, adding in some Scott Cawthon facts and why exotic butters is the best meme ever*
we are good at this.
*insert true yet generic comment about the games obvious flaws yet will still be ignored despite being truthful*
The biggest complaint I have about Saw II: Flesh and Blood was the fact that the puzzles were way way too hard.
Res 6 was a great game but the worst Resident Evil.
if you take the action out of resident evil, its just silent hill
+Septimus 555 Not quite. In order for that to be the case Resi needs to be scary in the first place. The first 3 games had scary music and anticipation but in terms of Monsters it's not even a contest. Play the first 4 minutes of Silent Hill 4 or PT and you'll see what I mean :)
I respectfully disagree. 5 was way worse. 6 at least had some locations with suspense, resident evil 5 the only good part of the game was Lost In Nightmares (DLC ONLY) The game itself was just a frustrating shooting gallery and no lesson learned on MOVE WHILE SHOOTING!. Shit on re 6 all you want, but it was better than 5 in many ways.
Research where they took inspiration for Dino Crisis in the first place, and let that sink in XD
*+Da Rush* and let's not forget THE WORST ALLY CHARACTER A.I. EVER!!!
Alone in the dark 2008 was a great game! You can burn down anything that can burn in the game, if you shoot in the window it will not just break, there will be a hole in the same spot where you shoot, fight system was inovating! Your coat was your inventory! Combining weapons! Destructible aroundings! Frekin action was awesome! You can find car keys in the car or just use your skills to power it up. Only car driving and absent of good ending were negative sides of this game. For 2008 it was innovative, genius game. People who said it was bad, just can't adapt to controls.
I agree with everything you said. Don't know how that game got panned so hard.
xxCAH4EZxx especially if they don't play AITD Illumination.I can say that reboot was better than 10 from 2 places. But i think that person who create this list can go fuck himself.Critics had mixed review but MIXED with praising gameplay, physics and story. But other games just awful. So sad that guy can't be fired
Seb Pratt it's not panned.72/100.3rd and 2nd place had 35 and 27.And on the 1st place should be Illumination
the PS3 version was good, but X360/PC version was too glitchy and the PS2/WII version was judt bad ,imo.
It sucks because it didn't have a final boss, the only boss battle are that lame giant bat in the middle of the game. And what's the point of playing the game if you can skip to the final level. Lol
The thumbnail is kinda sweet.
I'm quite sure Alone in the Dark: Illumination is a lot worse.....
This must have been one of the most difficult videos to make, there are so many stinkers. I pity the poor person who had to play these things and come to a conclusion (probably some intern). Torture, pure torture. There ought to be strict laws against the release of such monstrosities and heavy prison sentences for whoever releases them onto an unsuspecting public.
Alright, I'm going to admit it, I liked Alone in the Dark
Don't worry man your not alone in this, I Like it to
Agreed. It's a great game. Innovative even. Don't know what these people are talking about.
am I only one who liked Alone in the dark? especially Ps2 version. It might not be as good as classic AITD games, but it's not that bad either that everyone says. game had some good elements too..
Nope
It's awesome on PS3 as well. Very fun platinum.
turarosicky i don't understand. In the moment of releasing this video they have already known about Alone in the dark illumination. How?!HOW THE GAME WITH 69 ON META AND 72 ON GAMERANKINGS WAS WORSE THAN 35 and 27?!Stupid WM!Illumination was 19.19 from 100!!!
XS Baron yeas.He could be on honorable but still he was better than new nightmare and especially 35 and 27 from 100.He was most disappointing but not the worst.Illumination is disgrace.Imagine situation if on the list was not umbrella corps but re 6.It's the dumbest decision
I prefer AITD on Sega Saturn
The letter looks like a bad version of slender man
Five nights at Freddy should be number 1.most overrated crap ever.Sit in room press a button, repeat jump scares.Get some CZcamsr to over act, instant sale for kids.
Shame its on another horror games list, the other best ones to be exact.
Having said all that I personally find Fnaf meh from what little I've played of it. It is good game as a strategy game with horror inspiration but calling any of the games horror practically goes against the definition of horror. Personally I find that the Awesome N Keyblade did an amazing and very balanced review on this series.
bro theres a new game you dont just sit down mashing buttons but yeah the kids are kinda ruining it
wtf i thought your the real scott cawthon
Neil Taylor Dude, calm down. There are far worse than FNaf. At least it is something different than the typical scary game.
Neil Taylor i thought fnaf was a puzzle game
Why show OLD ass games? That stuff was terrifying at the time it was made
Bruh You cant tell that for sure.
I can definitively say none of these games were terrifying at any time.
Most of the old Classic horror games are scarier than most of the new and modern ones to me.
CyberLance26 I agreed look at alone in the dark the new nightmare. that was my childhood nightmare..
That's no excuse for how bad some of those old ass games are. Silent Hill managed to be good on the PS1. I kinda get the point for Friday the 13th and Night trap though. The former was on the NES, though so was Sweet Home and that was the atmospheric inspiration for Resident Evil. And Night Trap? What did you expect from an FMV game? Then again, people may have liked that at the time.
man, I remember as a kid playing The Friday the 13th game, and honestly being scared when Jason would creep up on you in the cabin
The alone in the dark game gets way to much hate. I owned it on console back in the day and absolutely loved every second of it. The cinematics, the music, the unique gameplay, the environments, combat, even the voice acting that often gets made fun of. My only two gripes with the game was the endings, and the “burning tree” filler missions.
I actually found Ju-On really scary when PewDiePie played it, back in the day. Also, Calling was pretty scary back then, too. I only enjoyed Survival Instinct because it had Daryl in it lmao. All the Saw games were kinda funny though.
I argue that Ju-on: The Grudge game was actually pretty terrifying; and this is from just watching a play through of it on Theswitcher channel.
Am I the only one who liked Resident Evil Survivor?
Not at all I enjoyed it too. :) It may not be very scary but it sure is fun. Survivor 2 I rate is an even better game to be fair but maybe I'm just crazy.
No, but you're definitely in the minority.
VixXstazosJOB
I personally thought _Survivor_ was awful.
to me it was a passable FPS with RE2 on it imo
Masked Guy I personally thought it was a guilty pleasure sort of game. Much better than SH Book of Memories at least.
I remember pre-ordering and buying Alone in the Dark at full price, and trading it in the next day. worst let down ever.
JU-ON is a good Game.
I like this girl ;) She knows what she's talking about. Although if you ever saw the UK cover for Ju-On you would not think it was a horror. I actually thought it was quite creative.
Gold Mariechen It's scary the first time, but once you know all the scares, it's dull and the slow pacing is such that you don't want to play it again.
@@Bluesit32 the game different types of scares also they are unexpected
No this game is piece of shit
Ju-on was good game although it had its problems, mainly you can get easily lost in the game
I actually liked Resident Evil 6, it doesn't have high replay value but I enjoyed playing it.
Klinsk I never finished it but I thought it had quite some replay value with those skills and such xD
It had meaty end game content like Adas whole campaign and then the mercenaries and trying to unlock the characters and costumes and then the lesser known multiplayer modes
I also liked it
WTF? #10 looks scary as hell!
The fact that friday the 13th is on here is a straight slap in the face. For that time period, the game mechanics and idea were ahead of its time. Smh mojo
These guys must honestly be tripping if they think Alone in the Dark is worse than "The Letter", "Night Trap", and "Friday the 13th". Heck even all the dishonorable mentions and most of the list. I'm not saying it's a great game, but it's not the worst.
Then again I doubt they played any of these games.
Alone in the Dark Inferno (PS3 version) fixed many of the problems
Ezechiel Pregzt they dont play illumination alone in the dark.19/100.72/100 is still good.Fuxk Watch Mojo
Resident Evil: Surivor deserves more love and it isn't as bad as everyone says! Yes, the gameplay wasn't what we thought it would be, but RE was trying something new and the story, if you dig into it is very horrifying what Umbrella does to children to created Tyrants. It needs a REmake and with just the right elements, a bit more story, and branching paths and actual ones, and weapon making can be just as good as a Resident Evil 2 Remake, I know it can!
Plus it was a shooter game in RE world...not even a horror game. >_> a lot of these weren't. Zombies don't mean horror, and either does being in the night/dark. O-o
sirherothebrave They were trying out something new, but it sadly did not go so well. That is not to say that RE3 was a horror game, but it was turning to action a bit.
I'm just saying that with the right team and right ideas Resident Evil; Survivor could be a good game. And a day and night system sounds interesting.
Brandon Aughtman The controls were horrid as well. Just plain dull.
TheBlues32 That is why they need work.
sirherothebrave You see, some people like you say that dark/night themed games don't mean horror games, and there's also people saying that 5 isn't scary because it usually takes place during daytime xD the only game I find boring is Umbrella Corps, even Gaiden was entertaining lol
DRUNNA WAS THICC AF 😂😂😂😂
The only good thing in Alone in the Dark 2008 was the OST.
Alone in the Dark was just buggy, it had scare elements. Why is it the first?
WHAAA? Alone in the Dark 2008 wasn't THAT bad! I liked it!
Even Walking dead : Survival Instinct isn't that bad right?
I told you watch mojo is asshole
finally you made the list I wanted for years
"I am the Light Bringer." "I'm the Fucking Universe."
Oh...I'm kinda tempted to put that theory to the test.
Even as a fan of Resident Evil, I have good to say about Survivor.
And I'm the girl that likes Resident Evil 6, of all games (and yes, I still stick by that opinion).
Cute :) To be fair while they may not be scary they sure as hell are fun and when it comes to video games that's all I can ask.
Oh, I agree.
Adam The Gamer yeah but this video is talking about fear... not fun...
Good... but... you sound very young... I don't like survivor, I been fan of RE for long time... so... but if you like survivor... have u ever played RE Dead Aim?... if u hadn't... try it... I always compare it with survivor... but made with love... oh... n' never change your opinion...
Frank Sunderland No it isn't talking about fear it's talking about horror. Fear is a feeling anyone can feel it's something that intensely scares you to the point even thinking about it is a place you don't want to go however the key difference is that fear is grounded in reality. Horror is a feeling that goes way above and beyond that it's the notion of something that shouldn't exist that goes beyond the realm of what you can imagine and fills you with dread at the very thought of it because it's something that's so harsh to comprehend much less defend yourself from.
And in regards to your first stupid comment... yes I do like to have fun and when I was responding, I wasn't responding to your idea of horror or Watchmojo's I was referring to his/her idea of what fun it... try it sometime you might actually learn a thing or two.
I don't think Resident Evil 6 is bad. Its awesome, but not as awesome as Resident Evil 4 or 5
Naw, it's pretty fucking lame
Tyler Chenoweth awesome for all the wrong reasons for a Resident Evil game to be.
Thomas Vincent Kennedy I remember, it was The Gaming Brit, I saw that video. Doesn't change the fact that I distinctly remember how I played pirated copy of RE6 and half through the first campaign decided that no matter how little fun I am having I have to clear it just to be able to say that it is horrible in it's entirety... And then Ada's campaign came out of nowhere and I exhaled a sigh in horrible, painful agony...
Thomas Vincent Kennedy I am sorry, but I follow the logic that if something is different in the way that completely annihilates the point of the original source material, changes the tone, style and overall atmosphere then it is horrible starting from it's roots and has the right to exist ONLY if it is made into a entirely new Intellectual Property. If you think people hate RE5 or RE6 simply for the reasons of being sheep, trying to do the same thing everyone else does then you are severely wrong.
RE6 might not be a horrible game in terms of just gameplay mechanics or presentation, but it is undoubtedly a pathetic Resident Evil game and seeing as it really does share the name, continuity and setting with the original Resident Evil games it can only be judged as such.
One has no right to view games on their own, simply because these games aren't presented as their own thing, they are marketed and presented as entries in their respective franchises and as such can only be judged on terms and in boundaries of those franchises. Simple as that.
If I suddenly make a first-person shooter with some puzzles and title it Myst I will be rightfully destroyed by Myst fans because I made a horrible Myst game. That is the only thing that matters.
Leon's campaign was the only really good one out of the four.
Friday 13th was an awesomely hard and scary game. I don't remember another game making me jump like this one until Resident Evil came along.
Try Outlast Trilogy for jump scares
One redeeming quality of RE Survivor, it introduced the first person perspective to later RE games such as 7.
No Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde?
Juan Valencia Right? It should have at least been a dishonorable mention.
Juan Valencia Is it really horror?
@@Bluesit32 exactly what I was thinking
I'm expecting so many comments from edge lords shouting titles like Slender and FNAF left, right and center.
7:19 Oh man, I eagerly await to see what Kojima and Reitus have in store for this game.
Did anyone else notice the Blink 182 album in the beginning ( 0:01 )
Well, in Alone in the Dark's defense, with that visual style and having the game's main plot be based around an ancient poorly explained supernatural MacGuffin, at least it can say it was a faithful adaptation of the movie.
AchtungFreud ...no it wasn't. No flash kicks, no parasite possessed people, no Tara Reid...nothing like the movie. The movie is closer to Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare...and only by a little bit.
Well, if nothing else, it shows what scrapping the bottom of the barrel looks like. Both the Uwe Boll shitshow and the 2008 version of the game
AchtungFreud he could be on the list in honorable mention but not in the 1st place because WM looks like imbeciles because Illumination was better than 2008 teboot?OOOKKK!!#😈
AchtungFreud and don't forget that game had awesome physics which are still fascinating
I would say the latest Alone in The Dark.
Period.
We need an Alone in the Dark and a Clocktower remake with the Alien Isolation gameplay.
I was about 10 years old, and would go over to my cousins to play Night Trap. All I ever did was scour the rooms thinking I could catch someone in the middle of changing their clothes.
I'm just here for the salty FNaF haters in the comments.
me too
High five
yes
***** Nice try, Fake Cawthon.
Ditto.
No, not the Pokemon Ditto!!!
GCN luigis mansion was really scary when i was 5 :(
Maybe but the shadow silouette of his hanging corpse freaked me out. 0,0
Strange that vampire rain didn't make it into this.
Really expected "The Ring: Terrors realm" to be up here lol
ju on shouldn't be on this list. if that game didn't scare you then you must have balls of steel.
The game was okay but the movie OH JESUS FUCK then you actually do have to have balls of steel not be scared by it
A Complete and Utter Failure i remeber watching the movie when I was little....I was very scared.
Where is Fnaf?
+Christian Avila imo, the first one was ok but he kept milking it
To be fair Sister Location is alright.
chemicalfalloutatthedisco People kept demanding it.
this is worst horror games, not worst internet fandoms.
The fandom made it worse
I didn't know there was a grudge game, but it looked pretty scary to me. And while there definitely is an argument to be had for putting the remake of Alone in the Dark on another top 10 worst list. As far as horror goes I think it does a good job, ammo and resources are scarce, and the enemies especially late game are tough as nails. When I played it, even in the open world sections of the game I still felt trapped. There were enemies everywhere and you never had enough weapons to beat them all.
lol that old school pimp slap from Alone in the dark (92)
I think ju-on is scary, despite the controlls.
Where is Slender the arrival and FNAF series ?
slender was alright and fnaf to the first fnaf is still pretty good compared to the rest of the games
Slender was alright ? LOOOOL
lynch66661 ldk it was all right it was bad in allot of things but the atmosphere was ok
really ? Okay
next to michigan report from hell
"I'M THE LIGHT BRINGER. I'M TEH F**KIN' UNIVERSE!"
Still the worst quote ever xD
The sound of that machine gun LOL!
Is #10 how Pewdiepie got famous?
OLD!!!
Slenderman
RERDITI RÉRTHZ you obviously don't know pewdiepie
It was amnesia
I love the 2008 Alone In The Dark game and in my opinion its an awesome, fun and very well done game with great gameplay, story and music and i dont think it deserves the hate its getting at all.
boy, when i was a kid Friday the 13th on the NES scared the shit outta me whenever Jason appeared.
7:55 I can only think of two instances where the developer did well with escort missions: The Last of Us, and Bioshock Infinite
survival instinct had its issues but I had fun playing it. I also love Daryl and pretty much anything with zombies in it so I might be biased. lol
Anna...Falaxis? Firstly... round of applause for that clever pun but secondly I agree. Zombie games may not be the scariest but they sure as hell are fun... Left for Dead 2 I'm looking at you. :)
Adam The Gamer Thank you! I agree, I love left 4 dead 2. RIP left 4 dead 3 that we will never get.
Anna Falaxis Nothing wrong with a girl who knows what she enjoys ;) A pity we didn't get Left 4 Dead 3 but at least we can mod L4D2 so that we can shoot Koopa Troopa's and Goomba's instead :P . Dunno why but I always insist on playing as the black chick.
Adam The Gamer very true, the modding community for l4d2 is great. :D
Anna Falaxis You got that right and with Haloween coming up I can't tell you how much I appreciate that :P What will you be playing on all hallows eve Anna?
alone in the dark (2008)? ... Are we try to pretend that "Illumination" does not exist?
Barsikkyn maybe it was so bad, watchmojo didn't want to know or hear about that game.
Barsikkyn They mention...and show a clip of it...at the end while saying that while 2008 Alone in the Dark killed the series, Illumination was the nail in the coffin.
TheBlues32 The game did not kill anyone, Review were mixed.
And I did not notice even attempt to explain why 2008 bad. AND having in the first place Alone in the Dark 2008 it is actually a statement that Illumination - better horror. So -
still stupid.
I think the grudge is pretty scary if you ignore the controls. It's when you are walking around and you hear that weird noise she makes...ugh it freaks me the hell out.
Resident Evil Survivor wasn't great, but playing it as a kid at sleepovers brings back so many memories. I love it if not for nostalgia
Amy sounds like the last of us
Isn't The Last of Us literally escorting a little girl from A to B? Like? Yeh.
But enemies don't react to her, only you, and she doesn't wast supplies like a dumbass AI would.
Sometimes she reacts to the enemies. She'll get you spotted from time to time.
I've never encountered it.
tcrpgfan I have in the level with the hunters.
That's why BioShock : Infinite was the best, Elizabeth provided ammunition, salts, and medicine.
Ju On had horrible controls, but it was realy scary, and it wasn't that short, because the last stage you had to look for the photographs of the old house, and it was a challenge to find all of them
Now here's the question, which was worse, the new installments for Alone in the Dark games, or the *shudders* movie from "that" director?
If you think these are the worst horror games you obviously haven't watched any videos from Jim F*cking Sterling Son!!!
Alone in the Dark 2008 wasnt so bad actually
I Know Right, I fucking hate they but this on there list.
omg there was a bioshock ad before this that i thought was a part of this video, was about to instantly dislike lol.
I still remember seeing that "F You Satan" ending and thinking it was a joke until the credits started rolling...
I can't believe that the reason that ESRB exists is cause of Night Trap. Really?!
Yup. Night Trap, Doom, and Mortal Kombat were the catalyst games.
Franny Yep. Some girl was in a state of slightly less dressed than normal and everyone freaked out. At least Doom and Mortal Kombat had blood and guts to go by. You really don't want little Timmy playing a game where you can literally rip a person's head off, taking a blood dripping spine with it.
that's weird... right?... I guess it's because of the time...
Franny I thought Mortal Kombat led to the creation of the esrb.
No, Mortal Kombat made it that way
How about The Last of Us? Escorting a girl who is actually immune to the spore. That went well.
HaSafe Zone Well it's not like having your throat torn out by clickers, or being shot by looters would kill you or anything.
The Last of Us was not bad.
No, I mean using the same plot device but still a good game. In the video they clearly said not to use the exact plot device cuz it will definitely fail.
Han Daimond Exactly. It is the opposite.
The plot of the story is escorting but the game mechanic itself is not.
Does the original version of One Late Night: Deadline count? Because that was my worst one.
"Dear future developers, if you decide to put escort missions in your game, just- just don't. Okay?"
Then we wouldn't have The Last of Us, now would we? because that whole game was technically an escort mission.
I remember Pewds played the first game and screamed at every encounter.
Destiny Garrison yeah because he knows what you little kids want. overacting youtubers screaming over the 144th jumpscare.
I would have thrown silent hill shattered memories on this list.
ThePrinnyslave I agree
Honestly, every Silent Hill game after The Room could've been on here.
Shattered Memories isn't a BAD game. It's just more of a thriller than it is a horror and really you could replace any character in the game and change the name and it wouldn't make any difference to the story. I enjoyed it but calling it a Silent Hill game feels weird.
Silent Hill 4 though... I love the game (sorry guys). Those fucking ghosts are terrifying, the way the game fucks with you is brilliant and the story surrounding walter is awesome.
Rilumai I did like origins though. Homecoming and downpour stunk horribly.
ThePrinnyslave Origins was interesting but was flawed in design which is forgiveable. Homecoming had some legitimately scary enemies but a really shitty story, with shitty characters and they try to force other characters into the plot like it's an action flick. Downpour... I'll be honest I love the motif behind downpours story and the exploration in that game is fun as hell the biggest problem... the game isn't scary... like at all
resident evil gun survivor is still gives me the chills
Ju-on wasn't based on a movie, the grudge was an American movie based on a manga called Ju-on. The game was based off that manga.
Holy crap, I just realized they have more subs then jacksepticeye.
r4ymond2 cool. If no one cares, then why did you click on this comment? That's what I thought.
Bryan Russell 7636022 but jack is boss tho.
Kristy Brainsikk that is true!!!!! But he's getting there 1 step at a time. 12,000,000 strong!
You do, why the fuck did you reply to his comment then?
Jake Harrington thank you
Watch Mojo often has some dubious sense of analysis. They probably didn't even played most or none of those games... Ju On is my proof.
Ju-On was definitely freaky when I was younger
Ju on still gives me chill tbh.
to be fair the redux of 2008's Alone in the Dark- Alone in the Dark Inferno was actually good
Can you do top 10 plot twist in games please?
WOAH.

No, Ju-On and Saw were bomb!
Ju-On is... Saw is absolutely horrific because of Shitty gameplay design. He did you see that damn near invisible wire? No... too bad.
yeah... they blow on my face... but... Ju On it's not this bad...
2:32 This the first ever Resident Evil game to be played in a first-person perspective, not re7.
What are you taking about Night Trap is cinematic gold
