It's much easier for me to get a proper appreciation and "feel" for a miniature when I see someone handling and rotating it. It's actually one of the main reasons why I watch painting videos.

I always love but also hate watching these painting tutorials. I see just how easily these amazing painters paint the beautiful figures, paint my own, then it looks nothing like the tutorial- even the box art. I'd be a better painter if I poured the paint in my mouth and spat it onto the figure, it would still look better than what I do now...
