I live in Texas. Go to Walmart on the first of the month and Mexican women are there with shopping carts packed full with groceries that they pay with an EBT card from the government. Interesting that I then see them putting them in newer nicer cars than mine. I live in a nice condominium complex that has to allow suction 8 housing. The condos are expensive to rent yet some get it for free, paid by the government.
