- Here is a quick and simple tutorial video for how to use your pH test Strips to test your body ph. You can test the pH of your urine or saliva with these strips. This video demos the pH test strips 4.5 to 9.0 for urine and saliva by Med Lab Diagnostics, but the basic steps can be applied to any pH test strip with two pads.
Note that these ph test strips 4.5 to 9.0 are only for testing urine and saliva. We have some other ph strips that test water and other liquids(info below).
If you need some pH strips to test your pH, often times you can find them at your local pharmacy or you can grab some here:

P.S. If you need some pH test strips to test something other than urine and saliva, (like water and other liquids ), check out these universal pH test strips 0 to 14:

We also have a how to video for how to read these ph test strips 0 to 14 below because they are a little different than the 2 pad ph strips:

This was so easy to understand, thank you, some people make it complicated.
We are glad it helped!
so well explained; thank you! I just got some strips like this and didn't even know where to pee- on the white end or coloured end (I tried both ends and was still confused as the results didn't look much different from pre-pee colours), and I couldn't figure out the two colours on the chart, so thank you for explaining it all so clearly! I'm ready now for my first pee tomorrow morning...
You are very welcome! :)
Thank you.💚🌻
Thank you, that was very helpful.
You are very welcome!
So if you're testing an acid only use the very end strip, but for an alkali you should look at the second strip? Because my ones don't match neatly, the bottom strip gives a different reading to the top strip when testing in the 5-6.75 pH area.
No, you're supposed to compare both pads to the chart shown on the bottle and then find the closest matching one.
I don't like the two pad test strips. With mine, it seems like one color square is indicating one ph level while the other square is indicating another ph level. I think I'm going to have to buy a ph meter in order to find out just what my ph level is.
I just learned that when the second colour doesn't match the chart, just go with the top colour (furthest from handle)... hope that helps, if you're still wondering! :)
Just for urine and saliva but testing with water 😂
🎉🎉🎉
strip must remain in liquid for at least 3 seconds.
The strip is already colored so I don’t see any “color change”
If you used it and don't see any color change then it's pretty much acidic the sticks start off lighter then then first acidic level
oh yes, this was my question too! @@antoniokeller2659
