- In this video I share 5 things that you should never do with your batteries:
1. Do not fly aggressively, especially sudden aggressive manoeuvres
2. Do not store your batteries fully charged
3. Do not forget to calibrate your batteries once in a while
4. Do not store your batteries in extreme cold or hot temperatures
5. Do not leave your batteries unused

Battery Maintenance! Most of it applies to any kind of batteries
Here’s my next video about drone battery maintenance. Although, most of it applies to all kinds of batteries including phones and laptops. Do check it out! - Krátké a kreslené filmy
*This battery reconditioning program exceeded my presumptions. It worked on any drill battery, several AA and AAA batteries, **batery.repair** and any camera battery. The steps are simple and the act itself is exciting to do. No matter what type of battery you`ve got, it is sure to function again!*
I love how you put the tips in the description. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much!
1:11 OMG that stick control !!
Making use of the czcams.com/users/postUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 reconditioning plan, I just saved 2 auto batteries from being completely junked. The guides were very simple to follow. I wish I would have found this years ago! You may use the guide to recondition any battery type
Some do last, I have a few batteries that are over 8 years old, their capacities reduce but they still do work.
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING AWARENESS TO US DRONERS!!
Thanks Kialash, great vid. Looking forward to more informative and well put together vids.

Nice vid, was very helpful as a newcomer to the drone field
Excellent information, condensed and well presented. Thank You for sharing.
Thank you!
Good info thanks
thank you for the great video. very well made and put together.
Thanks for watching! Appreciate the comment.
Excellent and informative, thanks Kailash
Last time I flew with mine I discharged them to 30% and placed them in a lipo bag (seperately) with the date and % charge, and it was all in my carry on baggage, as per FAA regulations, They absolutely don't want them in checked baggage as you could start a fire and kill everybody. I would suggest checking FAA regs. before you fly, I mean really who wants to kill themselves and everybody else, good video
Thats an important thing to consider. Thanks for sharing!
My god I love your edit!
Thanks bro! It helps a lot!
Thanks for the tips, it sure will help my batteries last longer. Good video
Thank you for watching!
Good video and thanks for being realistic about the exact number before you discharge the batteries. Some people are way to serious.
I was told never go below 30%, I got to research what is best and why. Thanks for this awesome video!
Thanks for watching!
A new subscriber!!
Thanks, will keep in mind.
Kailash great video and thank you for sharing.

Thank you very much!
@@kailashnaik no fire vid. until today?
Where is the fire video???!!!
@@magicwoody Still no fire video ... Disappointed and not subbed.
your video was good you have my subscription;)
Brilliant explanation, clear and concise.
Spot on :)
Very well done and informative.
I will recommended to charge below 30% when traveling by air. Some say 20%. Having batteries charge over 60% are way to dangerous. You say 90% not sure if that a good idea. Mahalo
Thanks. Useful information
awesome tips!
Thank you👍🏻 and we wait fir new information
Excellent video and helpful tips :) I assume and hope we will see a DJI Mavic Pro review soon. You have a new subscriber!

Awesome and nice advise
nice info thank you!!
Very informative and helpful. 👏👍
What can I say about your video ?
GREAT !
Thank you for posting.
Very nice job. I would mention that DJI operators can/should set the days to auto-discharge within the app. The default is 10 days (way too long). I've set mine to 3 days. You must set this option for each individual battery -- it it not a global setting. This allows fully charged batteries to slowly discharge on their own in the event that you don't get to fly them in a timely manner. It's a critical step to ensuring the longevity of your batteries.
Thank you! And that's a useful tip.. Thanks for sharing.
This is the best advice in the entire thread and should have been mentioned in the video.
OK I must need to do this cause all 3 of my batteries blew up like Val Kilmer and are now DOA. So plug a battery in the Inspire 1, turn it on, open the app, set the proper settings in the app, shut down and repeat for each battery?
Cheers
Damn, I just got my Mavic battery swollen up and started to think about your tip.
Does the battery need to be in the Drone for it to discharge after setting this feature?
Your video is awesome! You earned a sub :)
Thank you! :)
Very good job!
Good video!
nice touch of humor :)
and sooooo much conflicting info!
liked and subbed :)
Thank you! Appreciate the comment :)
:)
Great advise. I do actually fully discharge below 8% every 20 cycles and I always check my battery cells for deviations on the healthy drones website. Also I keep a battery log. One thing which is also very important for people in cold countries: Don't fly with batteries under 20 degrees Celcius (warm them in your car or under your clothes) and fly it gently until the temperature is up to 30 degrees Celcius.
Thank you! And thanks for you suggestion on flying in cold countries..
Excellent video, Kailash.

Hi If I do not use
my P3 for several weeks I discharge the battery has 50% but can I leave
it inside the drone or it is better to leave it outside?
Great video 👍
Great post dude 👍🏻
Thank you so much
After I’m done flying and the battery has cooled down should I charge it and unplug it when it reaches around 50% for storage?
Great video and I learned a few things I have never heard of Thank you!
Okay where's the video of you tossing these batteries in the fire? I would like to see that.
Useful video .. Thanks,
nice information about battery
keep doing great work
Thank you very much!
Life saving tips, thank you.
Thank you for watching!
Good info.
I certainly agree about sudden stops (~@ 1 min. In video).
As I was shooting video today, the thought occurred how to avoid this:
Select Cinematic mode, once airborne. Then, if you let go of the sticks, you'll gently coast to a stop - without all that aggressive counter-rotation. It saves wear and tear on the motors and prolongs flight time.
Do this whether videoing or just flying and/or taking stills.
Try it.
i have left my phantom 3 battery in my phantom full power for a month,is it good to fly it even it is on the phantom the whole time??
All good advise. Well Done Video :)
Thank you James :)

You're welcome!
Really helpful, do you guys ever just get so overwhelmed with so much technology from cameras, lenses, software, that we probably are doing some damaging stuff to our equipment and don't really know it? I always was charging my batteries 100% b/c there were so many jobs I would get with little notice. This helps!
You spoke very well ... keep going
Thanks, great video my friend!
Welcome! Thanks for watching..

What method to discharge the inspire 1 batteries? I thought they had a self discharge program built into the packs?
My D5 drone came with a USB charging plug. My question is: There ok s a red light that comes on telling my battery is bing charged. When the red light goes out is the battery still being charged? Thanks
