This is encouraging to hear. I hope the rest of the game is as good.
There's always the possibility that this revival doesn't pan out well considering that series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi left Sega awhile back.
He was the lead on Banana Blitz and has admitted he doesn't understand the appeal. I honestly thing Monkey Ball was so great because of the level designers, not Nagoshi
@@ellireome3981 He lost interest in Super Monkey Ball because he wanted to move on to more sophisticated games. That is why Amusement Vision was shut down. Also, Sega was moving away from arcade games completely, so what happened to Super Monkey Ball was inevitable.
The level design looks like massive step up from Wii titles. Just hoping game fells good to play.

Are all the battle modes able to be played locally or are they online only?
