  • Best Fishing Gloves
Captain Cody talks about the best fishing gloves. This can be for commercial fishing for sportfishing.
    The gloves discussed are:
Showa Atlas 720R-10 These dark blue gloves are made with thick waterproof rubber. These are great for scrubbing the boat or cleaning fish.
Showa 377-9 These light blue gloves are lightweight thin waterproof rubber gloves with a fabric liner.
Showa 454 - These orange gloves are made with a think warm fabric with rubber on the palm and fingers. These work great if it is not raining out.
Showa Atlas 300 -10 are grey fabric with blue rubber on the fingers and palm. These lightweight gloves are great general purpose gloves.
Showa 406-9 are orange rubber gloves with black rubber fingers. The gloves themselves are soft insulated fabric. Great for cold wet days.
Liners- the white liners act as insulation to keep your hands warmer on cold days.
SAS Nitrile disposable gloves - these black rubber gloves are waterproof and work well when handing wet rope or bait.
I hope this video helps you to select the best fishing gloves.
    Thanks for watching,
    Captain Cody.

Hey bro can the gloves resist from the sting of catfishes.?

Well catfish do not actually sting you. They have sharp dorsal and pectoral fins. On some types of smaller catfish they can be sharp like a needle and can contain some venom. Thick rubber gloves can help with this somewhat but you could still get poked through the glove when not handling them properly. The whiskers will not hurt you, just FYI. Personally I would get some lip grippers to hold the smaller catfish. Otherwise just make sure your hands do not slide into the fins.
