its way harder than it looks lol, you'll have some difficulty with it if you aren't used to rhythm games (god knows i did) but its definitely one of the easier rhythm games out there

The game called "Melatonin". You have a bunch of levels and different type of rythm. Most of them are really chilled. In case you wanna try it out but are afraid not to hit the rythm: the game has a option for getting a 1,2,3,4 time circle and it shows you to press correctly. Just try it out, its really really good

I love how two of the top three comments are Emory burning willow’s memories
This gives strong Rhythm Heaven vibes, and frankly good game design. The visual cues are strong enough to be clear, but not so obvious as to be easy. There are also strong and distinct audio cues (different size photos have different sounds), and the sync with the music is clear and satisfying. You can tell it's well designed because you could play it blind and it would still be totally fair.
I think it does better than Rhythm Heaven at its goal. Helps when there’s not a sound effect every half a second lmao
I disagree, I feel like the audio cues for some of the minigames are near indistinguishable from each other. Mostly Stress and Money for me

We need more rhythm games that aren't just mashing an insane number of notes and are instead more focused on being simple but satisfying, like in Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Doctor
That’s how they all start off but people will all want more and more challenge. Mania games (the keyboarding rhythm one) is simple at low levels and then you look at top players players and it looks like a whole different game.

@@intenseavarice34 To that end, there would need to exist a "rhythm gaming community" to begin with. And we can't ignore difficulty creep either but at that point it's just a matter of playing the songs you actually enjoy even if they're kinda too crazy to pass, probably the main reason I've used no fail modifiers was to learn/play through a song I enjoyed but couldn't pass to save my life.
@@KeitaroTsurugi There's definitely a rhythm gaming community, just look at Osu! or even DDR, all the way back to the arcade era. I do agree though, many rhythm games are not actually made very accessible, and the rare ones that are use tactics such as no-fail modifiers instead of the standard varying difficulty. But I suppose the devs are much like the players, they want to encourage those few players who seek the challenge more than get a wider audience in those players who simply want a casual experience. Though seeing as this is a comment thread on a somewhat casual rhythm game, perhaps this notion may change soon?
